A Morning of Work in the Garden

Gardens are usually very beautiful places, spaces that rise like a ray of light in the middle of a world devastated by urbanity, they are places where life thrives in a perfect way and where shapes, details and colors give us really spectacular combinations, but for these beautiful spaces to prosper in a harmonic and healthy way it is necessary that human action intervenes in favor of nature, so that in this way in a joint work can be delineating a scenario where all plants converge harmoniously and develop to the fullest.

This is how we can understand that having a garden at home is a work of deep dedication, where each element must be cared for and where each plant must be treated separately, so this morning I dedicated myself completely to make a deep intervention in the garden of my mother's house, because thanks to the rains of these days and a perfectly fertilized soil all the plants that I planted there less than a month ago are already lush and ready to be transplanted.

In addition to the compost that I used on that occasion for the first planting, I have asked my mother to throw on that soil all the vegetable waste produced in the kitchen, as well as coffee grounds and egg shells, since this allows the soil to maintain a constant generation of nutrients, which are effective to fertilize the soil in a natural way and at the same time to provide the plants with the vitamins and minerals they need for their growth.

Surprise apart from the ornamental and medicinal plants that I had already planted I could stumble upon a huge amount of paprika and chili bell pepper seedlings, which I suppose that they arrived there thanks to the action described above, this situation caused me surprise and at the same time generated me pride and hope, Since this gift of nature is great at this time of the year, it is for this reason that I decided to look for a container where I could transplant them so that little by little they grow healthier and stronger and once they fulfill these requirements I could place them directly in the ground or in a more appropriate space.

I also decided to review how the behavior of my Ucaro was going, which I read measuring throughout all these days and it has presented an extraordinary performance, since I can proudly tell you that it has grown around 10 cm per week and little by little they are laying down and its branches are generating many more leaves in the prelude of what I am sure will be a big and leafy tree, To continue to leverage this growth rate I decided to replenish the soil I had lost with much more compost which I topped with a full layer of dry trunks, which undoubtedly have been the best to the development of this garden.

It is in this way that each plant had a special and differentiated treatment, but here I can highlight a species whose name I do not know, but it is for its incredible reddish leaves, which undoubtedly stand out for their beauty and lushness, these had been originally planted by my mother with the idea that I would take several for my house, That is how I decided to check them and I realized that from a single plant had already born more than five new elements, is for this reason that I set out to find different containers where I could move them, so that little by little they continue to reproduce and continue to grow in a controlled and healthy environment, no doubt they were the ones that consumed more of my time, but to tell the truth this is a job that I love and I do with full satisfaction.

At the end of all this day it only remained to water abundantly each transplanted plant with plenty of water, it is for this reason that I came up with a tremendously creative and 100% functional idea, I brought an old bowl that I found over there, I filled it with water and I put it in a place above my arm, I introduced a hose which I later aspirated and thanks to this action a jet of water would begin to flow which with the help of my finger I could disperse in small quantities and allowed me to water from above the totality of all the plants, with which I would close a day that without a doubt was tremendously pleasant and very beneficial, I hope to write soon and give you new updates on my Ucaro and on the other plants that I showed you today.
