Saludos, amada comunidad del Hive Open Mic, sean bienvenidos una vez más a mi blog. Estoy feliz de traer una nueva presentación, esta vez para la temática relacionada con la música tradicional. No les voy a negar que pensé en cantar una pieza cultural venezolana, pero sinceramente me ganaron las ganas de cantar un bolero. Y si, para mí estos siempre serán tradicionales, un clásico que al menos para mí jamás pasarán de moda (soy muy romántica, jajaja).

Muchas veces el ser humano deja pasar las oportunidades sin imaginarse que estas puede que no vuelvan jamás. También desaprovechamos momentos junto a las personas correctas por no hacer las cosas bien. En fin, el bolero que les he traído hoy, nos muestra como le pedimos al tiempo que se detenga porque nos hemos dado cuenta de que en algo hemos fallado.

El autor de esta maravillosa pieza fue el ya fallecido mexicano “Roberto Cantoral”. Dicen que compuso esta letra justo después de enterarse de que a su esposa le quedaban solo horas de vida. Que triste historia.

Bien, les dejo no sin antes comentarles que se me complico grabar un poco este cover debido a las altas temperaturas que está atravesando la Argentina, para ser exactos hemos estado casi 40° en los últimos días y hoy no fue la excepción. Por otro lado, no sé si lo notaron, pero la gripe me está “matando” precisamente desde ayer, así que trate que se notara lo menos posible en el video jajajaja. Lo importante es que pude grabarlo y hoy nuevamente me sumo a esta maravillosa comunidad con mi presentación.

I'm not going to deny that I thought about singing a Venezuelan cultural piece, but honestly I felt like singing a bolero. And yes, for me these will always be traditional, a classic that at least for me will never go out of style (I am very romantic, hahaha).

Many times human beings let opportunities pass by without imagining that they may never come back. We also waste moments with the right people for not doing things right. Anyway, the bolero I have brought you today, shows us how we ask time to stop because we have realized that we have failed in something.

The author of this wonderful piece was the late Mexican "Roberto Cantoral". It is said that he composed these lyrics just after learning that his wife had only hours to live. What a sad story.

Well, I'll leave you not before telling you that I had a hard time recording this cover due to the high temperatures that Argentina is going through, to be exact we have been almost 40° in the last days and today was no exception. On the other hand, I don't know if you noticed, but the flu is "killing me" just since yesterday, so I tried to show it as little as possible in the video hahahaha.
