I'm thrilled to join Hive Open Mic Week #196 with the theme "Your Light On Me" chosen by @isbelhiv02. As a worship leader, the concept of light holds deep spiritual meaning that I wanted to reflect through song. When we fix our eyes on the divine Light, darkness flees.

This theme feels especially poignant lately, as so many seem surrounded by shadows - disillusionment, fatigue, despair. But even a spark can pierce the darkness. My prayer is this song reminds us no night is devoid of dawn.

The Light I sing to represents hope, renewal, and restoration. It cuts through the gloom and illuminates truth when lies abound. Light is the love that casts out fear and hatred.

We each have darkness within and around us to varying degrees. This is a fallen world. But darkness is no match for resolute Light. Keeping our gaze upward dissolves shadows.

Through this song, I want to speak light into any dark valley you may be walking through. You are not abandoned - LOVE is reaching out to carry you until joy comes morning.

Let these lyrics and notes lift your spirit and remind you brighter days await. Our Light is eternal, unrelenting, and actively on the move. Take heart - rescue is nearer than you know!

My prayer is that you feel wrapped in comfort, hope and courage. Even if just for a few minutes through music. We resonate with songs that meet us where we're at.

Music has power to bypass the intellect and speak truth right to our souls. My dream is to steward that power for good during my time on this mic.

Estoy encantada de unirme a la Semana #196 de Hive Open Mic con el tema "Your Light On Me" elegido por @isbelhiv02. Como líder de adoración, el concepto de luz tiene un profundo significado espiritual que quería reflejar a través de la canción. Cuando fijamos nuestros ojos en la Luz divina, las tinieblas huyen. Este tema resulta especialmente conmovedor últimamente, ya que muchos parecen estar rodeados de sombras: desilusión, fatiga, desesperación. Pero incluso una chispa puede atravesar la oscuridad. Mi oración es que esta canción nos recuerde que ninguna noche está exenta de amanecer. La Luz a la que canto representa esperanza, renovación y restauración. Atraviesa la oscuridad e ilumina la verdad cuando abundan las mentiras. La luz es el amor que echa fuera el miedo y el odio. Cada uno de nosotros tiene oscuridad dentro y alrededor de nosotros en distintos grados. Este es un mundo caído. Pero la oscuridad no puede rivalizar con la Luz decidida. Mantener la mirada hacia arriba disuelve las sombras. A través de esta canción, quiero iluminar cualquier valle oscuro por el que estés caminando. No estás abandonado: el AMOR está extendiendo la mano para llevarte hasta que llegue la alegría por la mañana.
