Desde lo íntimo...

Un día mi papá se fue, y alguien me dijo:
En Jeremías 33:3 dice ´clama a mi y yo te responderé y te enseñaré cosas grandes y ocultas que tu no conoces.´

Fue en ese momento que me detuve a escuchar su voz, y solo oré: ´Ten misericordia de mí, ayúdame...´ Y yo no era buena, no era justa, no era perfecta. Pero el sólo buscaba un corazón contrito y humillado que respondiera respondiera a su voz, llamándome.

Por eso está escrito acerca de Jesús en Juan 1:12: más a todos los que le recibieron, a los que creen en su nombre, les dió la potestad de ser hechos hijos de Dios.

En esta vida siempre estamos moviéndonos por un título: ´ser alguien´. Y luego está Dios atrás nuestro, tratando de alcanzarnos cada día de nuestra vida para mostrarnos que con él y en él, es suficiente.Él lo es todo y lo llena todo.

Y es cuando finalmente te detienes ante su voz llamándote, y te acercas, que recibes el mejor título habido: ser su Hijo.

Y no lo hablo porque yo o alguien lo merezca; pues nadie tiene algo que ofrecerle a Dios para reconciliarse con él. Todos corremos lejos de él, como hijos pródigos. Y él aún así envía a su Hijo, y solo nos llama al arrepentimiento y la fe en Jesús.

Oh, cuánto Él nos ama.

And I do not speak it because I or anyone deserves it; for no one has anything to offer God to be reconciled to him. We all run away from him, like prodigal sons. And yet he still sends his Son, and calls us only to repentance and faith in Jesus.

Oh, how much he loves us.

Personalmente, es una de las exaltaciones que más escucho actualmente, sobre todo por el clamor que elevan con ella. Más que una canción, es mi oración al Padre: sé tú mi deleite, sostenme con tu palabra, guardame en completa paz.

Y la oración que más atesoro de ella: como un Padre él me desea.
Lo más hermoso de acercarse a Dios por medio de Cristo es esa identidad; ser su Hija, y él mi Padre. No hay relación más intima que esa.
