There is great debate about autonomous vehicles. The two that are out there are Waymo and Cruise that are running robotaxis.
In this video I discuss how the platforms on geo-fencing are pretty much failures. This is based upon mapping which is why these vehicles often stop in the middle of the road when construction changes things. This is not a car learning to drive. That is where the breakthrough will come.
