📟 Mając radio krótkofalarskie można też słuchać komercyjnego radio, dzisiaj trochę posłuchamy radia odbieranego w Polsce z najdalszych zakątków świata, głównie z części Azji, najwięcej słychać z Chin oddalonych około 7000km od naszego kraju :)

Techniczne informacje

📟 Słuchamy radia w modulacji AM (potocznie mówimy, że to radio na falach krótkich). Jest to dość stara technologia, ale ma ten plus że może być słyszana na bardzo daleką odległość. Jej minusem są niedogodności związane z szumem. Wraz z rozwojem technologii radiowych i pojawieniem się nowych standardów, takich jak FM (najczęściej spotykane) i DAB (to jeszcze dość mało popularne w moich okolicach), popularność radia AM zaczęła maleć, maleć praktycznie do zera.

Jedynie Polskie radio jeszcze działa na AM, pozostałe to jakieś lokalne rozgłośnie radiowe o bardzo małym sygnale.

Radia FM mamy zarejestrowane na około 1159 pozycji częstotliwości.

📟 FM i DAB oferują lepszą jakość dźwięku, większą stabilność sygnału oraz możliwość nadawania dodatkowych informacji cyfrowych (RDS - np. nazwa stacji, tytuł i autor piosenki), co sprawiło, że stały się bardziej atrakcyjne dla nas słuchaczy. Najważniejsza jakość, w technologi FM praktycznie nie szumi, a DAB to jest dzwięk idealny, bo go pięknie słychać albo go nie ma wcale :D (no można słyszeć cyfrowy bełkot przez chwile, coś jak łączenie się z modemem internetowym jak ktoś pamięta lata 2000 i wdzwaniane telefoniczne).

📟 Dla wielu osób radio AM nadal ma swoje miejsce, zwłaszcza w miejscach, gdzie sygnał FM lub DAB może być słaby lub niedostępny. Myślę że szczególnie ważne jest to radio dla osób bardzo starych, samotnych, które mają w domu stare radio. Modulacja AM może się sprawdzić w przypadku klęsk żywiołowych lub sytuacji kryzysowych, gdy tradycyjne środki komunikacji mogą być niedostępne. Jednakże, ogólnie rzecz biorąc, w Polsce i na świecie radio AM traci na popularności na rzecz nowocześniejszych technologii nadawania dźwięku, raczej nic z tym nie zrobimy. Dawniej w Polsce było sporo wysokich masztów nadających sygnał AM, teraz rdzewieją nieużywane, są atrakcją dla szukających adrenaliny, polecam kanał https://www.youtube.com/@BNTvideo

Co tutaj słychać?

📟 Na tych częstotliwościach gdzie teraz mam w miarę sprawną antenę słychać głównie Chińskie Radio Międzynarodowe, nadają w różnych językach z dużą mocą.
Ciekawostka, mają też audycję w języku Polskim 😊 (może kiedyś nagram fragment i opublikuję dla HIVE mały fragment).

📟 If you have a ham radio, you can also listen to commercial radio, today we will listen to some radio received in Poland from the farthest corners of the world, mainly from parts of Asia, the most we hear comes from China, approximately 7000 km away from our country :)

📟 We listen to the radio in AM modulation (colloquially we say it's short wave radio). This is quite an old technology, but it has the advantage that it can be heard at very long distances. Its disadvantage is the inconvenience of noise. With the development of radio technologies and the emergence of new standards, such as FM (the most common) and DAB (still not very popular in my area), the popularity of AM radio began to decline, practically to zero.

Only Polish radio still operates on AM, the rest are some local radio stations with a very small signal.

We have FM radios registered at approximately 1159 frequency positions.

📟 FM and DAB offer better sound quality, greater signal stability and the ability to broadcast additional digital information (RDS - e.g. station name, title and author of the song), which made them more attractive to us listeners. The most important quality, in FM technology there is practically no noise, and DAB is the perfect sound, because you can hear it beautifully or it is not there at all :D (well, you can hear digital gibberish for a while, something like connecting to an Internet modem if someone remembers the 2000s and dial-up telephones).

📟 For many people, AM radio still has its place, especially in places where an FM or DAB signal may be weak or unavailable. I think this radio is especially important for very old and lonely people who have an old radio at home. AM modulation can be useful in the event of natural disasters or emergencies where traditional means of communication may be unavailable. However, generally speaking, in Poland and around the world, AM radio is losing popularity in favor of more modern sound broadcasting technologies, and we are unlikely to do anything about it. In the past, there were a lot of tall masts transmitting AM signals in Poland, now they are rusting and unused, they are an attraction for adrenaline seekers, I recommend the channel https://www.youtube.com/@BNTvideo

What's going on here?

📟 On the frequencies where I now have a relatively functional antenna, I can mainly hear Chinese International Radio, they broadcast in various languages with great power.
Interesting fact, they also have a program in Polish 😊 (maybe one day I will record a fragment and publish a small fragment for HIVE).
