Improvised vs Written Guitar Solo - Who wins?

Testing out writing solos on a time schedule! I pretty much always just improvise my solos, almost every video of mine I would have jammed over a track 2-3 times to warm up and then just go for it and feel it! But, when I recorded my last album 'TIME?' I was loving the solo writing process, and found it pretty challenging!

So, I have decided to improvise a solo, as explained, and then I gave myself 20mins to try and write some lines and have more structure. What do you think?

If I'm totally honest, I kind of lost my way in the second half of this solo haha BUT it was a written part up to the high bend, then it was more of a structured solo. The first solo was honestly 100% improvised I literally listened to the track once and just played, which is fun! I know, a lot to improve on but that is what my channel is all about!
