Hive Music Festival, Week 39, Round 3 - Big Blues GUITAR SOLO - Tone Battle!:)

**HMF 39! Sunsethunter Retruns!! **

Everyone, it feels so good to be back (Eminem voice... hehe) - well, how else can I come back here, with a blues solo! It is what I love and what I do!

Some of you might remember me - I used to post very frequently into HMF, but the past 4-6 months have been... interesting for me. A lot of changes, a lot more work, and I was injured, but still, nothing can stop us right?! Everything builds strength and resilience :)

So, what am I doing here?

Well, I am jamming over a super slow blues track (video link below) and I have decided to have a fun guitar 'tone war' to see which picup everyone prefers? I do not really have a preference... well, I do for some things, allow me to explain.

1st Solo is Neck Pickup
2nd Solo is Bridge Pickup

NECK - I like this for a warmer smoother tone, often on clean or some low gain blues or chill sounds, I love this pickup! I could roll off the tone to make it sound very 'muddy' here but I have decided to have both full vol full tone to have a good comparison!:)

BRIDGE - Now, this one ROCKS! You will probably just hear/see with my playing on how it makes me feel. Actually, both of these sounds are a reflection of myself. Anyway, this pickup hits harder, it has more bite! I love it for rock, metal, and screaming solos!:)

Both are very unique, and absolutely have thier own sounds and characteristics!:) I can safely say, there is no winner to me and I am very happy to have both in my life!

As I mentioned at the start, I am playing an Epiphone Les Paul, and I have setup my Zoom GX4 to a 'Gary Moore' patch. He is my favourite guitarist :)
