Hello Beautiful people, greetings and best regards. I hope this post meets you with as much joy as I have seeing the end of 2023 and being alive for the great things 2024 has in store for us. I'm glad to be here once again for Hive Open Mic... This first week has been quite eventful for me, working on my song I want to put out as soon as possible while preparing for a journey I'm going on in two days and a bunch of other stuff. I'm really tired and hungry at the time of making this post on Saturday night and everything in me is screaming eat and go to bed but there's no way I'm going to miss the first week of hive open mic for the year. If possible I won't miss any this year.

Our theme for the week talks about friendship, something we're all familiar with. I have two close guys i've been friends with since nursery school and we're still good and in contact but it's a bit occasional, and it's not all things I can tell them, but the bible tells us that there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother... There are friends yes, but as a popular hymn says, there's not a friend like Jesus. The title of this song says it all, Nobody like Jesus.

The song is by a South African gospel musician named Neville-D and features a bit of rap by another artist Cjay, but in this cover I have covered only the part by the singer... The song was done in more than one key with modulation featuring probably multiple times, it was hard doing that without instruments but of course was a pleasure trying, and I hope you like this cover.

Hola gente guapa, saludos y saludos cordiales. Espero que esta publicación los encuentre con tanta alegría como yo al ver el final de 2023 y estar vivos para las grandes cosas que 2024 nos tiene reservadas. Me alegro de estar aquí una vez más para Hive Open Mic... Esta primera semana ha sido bastante agitada para mí, trabajando en mi canción que quiero publicar lo antes posible mientras me preparo para el viaje que estoy emprendiendo. Dos días y un montón de cosas más. Estoy muy cansado y hambriento al momento de hacer esta publicación el sábado por la noche y todo en mí grita come y vete a la cama, pero no hay manera de que me pierda la primera semana de Hive Open Mic del año. Si es posible no me perderé ninguno este año.

Nuestro tema de la semana habla de la amistad, algo con lo que todos estamos familiarizados. Tengo dos chicos cercanos con los que he sido amigo desde la guardería y todavía somos buenos y estamos en contacto, pero es un poco ocasional, y no son todas las cosas que puedo decirles, pero la Biblia nos dice que hay un amigo que se pega más que un hermano... Hay amigos sí, pero como dice un himno popular, no hay amigo como Jesús. El título de esta canción lo dice todo, Nadie como Jesús.

La canción es de un músico gospel sudafricano llamado Neville-D y tiene un poco de rap de otro artista Cjay, pero en este cover he versionado solo la parte del cantante... La canción fue hecha en más de un tono con La modulación se presentó probablemente varias veces, fue difícil hacerlo sin instrumentos pero, por supuesto, fue un placer intentarlo, y espero que les guste esta versión.
