I built a Lego truck

This is the 9395 pick-up truck kit that I originally built with my son about ten years ago. We never got around to building the other model it could do, but I recently got back into Lego and decided to give it a go.

The instructions for the alternative model were not included, but you can download them. There are three books with almost 200 pages in total. It will take several hours to build and I did it over a few days. It is not too difficult, although some of the diagrams are a little hard to make out. There are lots of similar parts and you need to make sure you use the right ones.

I like that there are lots of moving parts on this model. I would have loved it when I was a kid, but I can still appreciate it now. I do have a lot of respect for the designers. Once built it is quite robust, so you can play with it. I know there is a whole scene of Adult Fans of Lego (AFOLs). It could be an expensive hobby.

We have some other Lego around the house, so I may feature more of it soon.
