I have @dickturpin to thank for the inspiration for this video. He tweeted a video of a performance of AC/DC's Thunderstruck by hundreds of drummers.

So I had to have a go at that. On Youtube you can find drumless versions of some songs and this one also includes the drum 'tab' that shows you what to play. I had that up on my tablet to follow along.
I do not know how many hundreds of hits on the high-hat this song has, but my right hand was struggling a bit. That hand has some nerve damage and so the muscles are a bit weak. I also struggled a bit with the timing on the first half of the song, but I managed to lock in for some of it. I will say that I slowed the video down to 0.75x so I could keep up. I would need more than the one practice I did to get up to speed. It was still fun. I hope I can look back on this in a year and be able to play it much better by then.
The song is unusual as the bass drum switches from being on beats 2 and 4 at the start to the standard 1 and 3 later on.
I am playing my Yamaha DD-65 drums. Some of the sounds are great, but the floor tom sounds a bit electronic for my tastes. Maybe I will get something better eventually, but this is okay to learn the basics and see if I want to keep drumming.

Rock on!
