Hello everyone, welcome to Hive Open mic week #197...I trust everyone is doing okay. In line with this week's theme "Fall in love" as selected by recent spotlight artiste @generp, I'd be performing a classic by Nigerian singer and entertainer D'banj titled Fall in love 😉. When I saw the theme for the week, I had a lot of songs in mind to cover but then this came to my mind last minute... I'm very sure it's perfect for this week. This song was released in the year #2008 but is still an amazing record to listen to. Love is such a beautiful thing when it's done rightly and it's reciprocated 😍...there has to be a mutual feeling, respect and consistency between two people. Love isn't just a feeling, it's an act.... ever heard the saying? "Action speaks louder than words". The reason I've chosen to perform this song is because I believe in love, l love love in fact I'm a love person ❤️. And of course it's a song I love so much, the lyrics, the rhythm of the song... everything is so gold about it, believe me when I say this. Well I've always known how to sing it since my teenage years so why not make a cover of it?😊

The song basically is a guy (D'banj) telling his lover how he feels about her, telling her his mind, how she is the love of his life and how he feels blessed to have someone like her in his corner, because he never thought that he could find someone that could capture his heart and attention. He always bragged to his friends about how he would always be a player but since he set his eyes on her, he doesn't mind changing his philandering ways. He then goes on to tell her how she's made him fall in love, and how he really wants them to get married cause he's so in love with her. Hola a todos, bienvenidos a la semana n.° 197 de micrófono abierto de Hive... Confío en que todos estén bien. De acuerdo con el tema de esta semana "Enamórate", seleccionado por el reciente artista destacado @generp, interpretaré un clásico del cantante y animador nigeriano D'banj titulado Enamórate 😉. Cuando vi el tema de la semana, tenía muchas canciones en mente para versionar pero luego me vino esto a la mente en el último minuto... Estoy muy seguro de que es perfecto para esta semana. Esta canción fue lanzada en el año #2008 pero sigue siendo un disco increíble para escuchar. El amor es algo tan hermoso cuando se hace correctamente y es correspondido 😍...tiene que haber un sentimiento mutuo, respeto y coherencia entre dos personas. El amor no es solo un sentimiento, es un acto.... ¿alguna vez escuchaste el dicho? "Las acciones hablan más que las palabras". La razón por la que elegí interpretar esta canción es porque creo en el amor, amo el amor, de hecho soy una persona amorosa ❤️. Y claro que es una canción que me encanta, la letra, el ritmo de la canción... todo es oro, créeme cuando te digo esto. Bueno, siempre supe cantarla desde mi adolescencia, así que ¿por qué no hacer una versión de ella? 😊

La canción básicamente es un chico (D'banj) que le dice a su amante lo que siente por ella, le dice lo que piensa, que ella es el amor de su vida y que se siente bendecido de tener a alguien como ella a su lado, porque nunca Pensó que podría encontrar a alguien que pudiera capturar su corazón y atención. Siempre se jactaba ante sus amigos de que siempre sería un jugador, pero desde que puso sus ojos en ella, no le importa cambiar sus formas de mujeriego. Luego continúa contándole cómo ella lo hizo enamorarse y cómo él realmente quiere que se casen porque está muy enamorado de ella.
