Hello everyone welcome to Afri-tunes week #78, a contest where we share and promote contents surrounding African music and tunes. I trust we all are doing okay, for this week I'd be performing a song by Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer Burna Boy called "On the low". This jam was released in the year 2018 and its off Burna's fourth studio album (African Giant). The song is a fusion of Afrobeats and dancehall which means it's really danceable and groovy 😉.

The lyrics of this song talks about a love affair that seems really perfect and the goal is to turn this into a lifelong commitment, Burna hails his love interest (Angelina) in this song...she's his everything, she's his peace, and he wouldn't ever disappoint her or leave her hanging. He's developed feelings for her and he's tired of keeping it on the low, he wants to put a ring on her finger, get married to her and make their relationship known. He's not perfect but he's trying to be a better man for her, do right by her. If she ever needs anything, He'd always be there to deliver because she's his everything 😊. She gives him joy, happiness and makes him feel loved. He'd do any and everything just to have her in his life. Confío en que todos estemos bien, porque esta semana interpretaré una canción del cantante, compositor y productor discográfico nigeriano Burna Boy llamada "On the low".
