Hi everyone, I'm here to post my weekly challenge starring the card SPINEBACK TURTLE! I made a video with some battles using it and showing how to use it strategically.
As a common card of the water element, it costs 4 mana and at level 1, which was the level used in battles, it has 1 attack, 1 speed, 2 armor and 6 life points. At this level, he doesn't have any special abilities, but he becomes a good tanker when it comes to a low mana battle rule.
At level 4, its status becomes very interesting, where it remains 1 attack and speed, but on the other hand it has 3 armor and 7 life and gains the skill thorns, becoming the terror for close range attackers.
For the mana cost, I consider it a good tanker, since its role is exactly that, holding damage so your rear cards do the work.
Well, better than talking and explaining with images, you can check the strategy idea in the video I made with some battles, but of course I'll explain what I think about how to use the card.
As I said, there's not much secret, being a tanker, your role is to go ahead to hold damage, I believe it's a good card especially when I have little mana available.
In this match, with the 17 mana rule I managed to win, because with SPINEBACK TURTLE in front, KELP INITIATE in second to hold snipers and the powerful AXEMASTER last, here we can clearly see its function being well executed.
Here, the same strategy was also used, but as I had less mana available (14), I placed cards with even less cost. Highlight here also for KELP INITIATE who saved the match by holding back enemy sniper damage.
