Hi, dear friends and family at Hive Open Mic Community. Introducing me, my name is Samuel Stifen, a guitarist, and my friend Frans is a vocalist. We are both the acoustic band The People People. It's unbelievable, the weekly event #openmic has entered number 150. Every day I see great and talented musicians here. This proves that the Hive Open Mic weekly event is getting ahead of the curve.

So, this week's theme is “Faith, Hope, and Love”. This theme was chosen by @deeanndmathews, she is a talented writer and singer in this Hive community. From this week's theme, the two of us performed a cover song entitled “Jejak”, by Pamungkas. Pamungkas is a singer and song composer from Indonesia. His name is well known among the Indie music community and the songs he writes are also very good and beautiful.

Faith, hope, and love are the three virtues that are essential to the human experience. Faith is believing in something greater than yourself, hope is having optimism in challenging times, and love is accepting and caring for others. Even when life appears to be at its darkest, these three virtues can be held close to provide us with strength, courage, and comfort. Therefore, the song we present today has the meaning that every human being has experiences and storylines of life that coexist with each other. The lyrics describe a man who guides his partner to a better path, just like the man's experience.
