Sufi Night Memories | Throwback Thursday

I attended Sufi night function last year on 18 August. I feel like it was a few days ago when we were enjoying in colored lights. But seven months have passed since that night.

This Sufi night function was organized a week after my admission in college. We were informed about it two days ago and I was very excited about it. Because it was my first function in college.

Those were the days when I was a new student in college and now are the days that we will enter the new class very soon. Next month we have board exams. How fast time changes and these days become memories.

We were told that the function would be started at 6 pm in the college. But when I called my classmate at 6 pm and asked if the function has started, he said it hasn't yet. So I didn't get ready because I knew I would reach college in 20 minutes.

When two hours later my friend called me that the function had started, I got up to get ready. I know I get ready in five minutes. I quickly took out my new dress and put it on. Above I wore a black coat. Now I am ready. I reached college by bike in 20 minutes.

Now I have to buy a ticket worth Rs 600 to enter. When I entered after buying the ticket, I saw a banner on the front wall. Which had a beautiful art on it and I began to admire the creator of that art. This art was made for a special Sufi night.

I was so excited for Sufi Night that even before I got inside I started cheering at the sight of that blue light. And took a selfie. I am not much fond of selfies but I created this concept as a souvenir. As now I remember those days and have a smile on my face.

I enter and my friend is already standing with a camera to greet me. 😄 I took a selfie with him and started enjoying my function. I saw the colorful lights and when the melodious sound of the Qawwali reached my ears, I felt the sound of it and became intoxicated. ☺️

I saw everyone humming at the singer's voice. I started humming too. I have also included her melodious voice and all these scenes in my video. Everyone enjoyed this beautiful night.

This night was really beautiful. While writing this I was remembering those days and I had a smile on my face. I got all these images from a bunch of galleries. I keep only recent photos in my mobile. I keep my past photos in my laptop.

Now I was shooting some beautiful scenes of the place where the ceremony was held. The sound system here was so loud that it was impossible to talk to each other. But this loud voice adds to the fun of Sufi Night.

At that time I was trying to take a selfie but my friend behind me was taking a picture in such a difficult way. Now I look at this picture and laugh remembering those days.

I knew that the function would last till 12 pm but I got permission from father only till 10 pm. Now I have to go back I really enjoyed this function and I will always remember this function. 💞
