It's week #78 on @afri-tunes. I'm @rukkie and for this week, I will be presenting a song by a Nigerian artist named "Tekno" and the song is titled "Peace of Mind".

When I came across this song, I knew I had to present it. From the lyrics of the song, we can all guess just how important it is for one to have "peace of mind". It is indeed underrated and we should try to change that for no matter what, we should all value our peace of mind.

Peace of mind comes from within and there are ways one could achieve that for those willing to have it. There are some tips I use myself which include not minding people's words and actions toward me, not staying idle, and engaging in things that make me happy.

It's no news that as humans we can only vouch for ourselves because we really can't tell what's in the mind of another. You don't know those who like or dislike you, who wants you to succeed and who is jealous of you. Some people go as far as spreading bad rumors about you in a bid to discredit you. I'd say do not let them, keep your head up high, and choose to have "peace of mind".

Another way is to try to develop a thick skin, we can't all be the same so it might be impossible for some people not to allow other people's words get to them. Instead, if you find it hard try to engage in things that would take your mind off whatever negative things people say about you. Invest in yourself and find things that help keep you grounded. Go out and have fun, listen to music, watch movies, meditate and stay healthy, get enough rest and sleep when required. In general, just try to always keep yourself busy.

Always remember that true happiness comes from within and only you can choose to be Happy or otherwise.
