At first they thought it was something in the air, something very dark that affected people when they breathed it in.
Today so many years later the world has changed, the streets are desolate, the cities empty, the trees dry.
I remember the planes flying through the skies with their chemtrails, what were they doing there, what were they doing to humanity.
And they thought it was something in the air.
People began to change, their gaze was lost, there was no reaction. Their actions began to be automaton-like. More than ten years had passed and they thought there was something in the air.
They were filled with fear, the fear that takes over minds without giving them a chance to reason. They took over their minds thinking there was something in the air.
Soulless gazes, staring into the void. They walked aimlessly, those who had survived.
They walked among the bodies of the dead. What happened to them? They say they don't know, they just fell to the ground, writhing until they were immobile.
And they thought there was something in the air.
Their eyes were no longer the same, nor their skin, nor their flesh, there was no spirit in their pupils.
Their bodies, living flesh, parts you no longer had, their blood....
They wandered aimlessly, those who had survived, aimlessly.
I remember the rows they made, where were they going? Fear gripped them, because of something in the air. Endless lines to save themselves from the air.
Very few of us looked and said where are they all going. Their minds had been taken.
Desolate world, abandoned world, the lonely houses.
Something drove them mad, unexpected reactions, people jumping out of their windows.
Their minds no longer belonged to them, they were already submissive.
Everything became dark, deep, lifeless.
Inside them there was something growing, multiplying and consuming life. All their bodies were infected with something that could not be destroyed.
They were never the same again, zombies by the way. Few of us were saved from the path of no return.
And they thought there was something in the air, when in fact it was in their blood.
Good morning, afternoon or evening to all the nice community of @Science Fiction on HIVE, I hope you are all feeling great.
Today I bring you a design and a story of a science fiction story that came to my mind.
A desolate world, where humans have become a kind of zombies, an apocalypse of humanity. And only a few pure uninfected survivors. I tried to capture in the design and writing what my imagination sees, images that pass in my head while listening to the music I hear in the background.
Maybe a lost world or maybe not, is it possible to save the human race, is it possible to restart the world, is it possible to evolve and be better, is there something in the air?
A pleasure to bring you this fantastic or who knows, not so fantastic story.
Thank you for watching and reading my work.
Best regards to all of you.
