    About :

PELACOR ARBALEST is one of the Monster that attack targets with Ranged Attacks and can be very effective in battles. Especially since he has the Double Strike Ability, he attacks twice each round, which makes him very effective in battles. Indeed, in some battles, attacking enemies twice is incredibly effective (I will give an example of this below.). I think the only downside is that Pelacor Arbalest is slow and missing some attacks can be very annoying for the team, so I would like to point out that he is much more effective in battles when used with a good strategy.

Also, his low health is a downside, but this can be ignored considering he attacks twice each round, but I think it would be a good strategy to give him armor with a Summoner or a Monster with the Protect Ability to prevent him from being destroyed too early in battle.

Pelacor Arbalests are armed with powerful crossbows enchanted to fire bolts at extremely long distances. They are trained to wield a crossbow in each hand and can fire both simultaneously with deadly accuracy. Compounded with the Pelacor's excellent eyesight and nimble dexterity, these sharpshooters are extremely useful as snipers on the battlefield.

PELACOR ARBALEST has the Double Strike Ability at level 1. Monsters with the Double Strike Ability attack twice each round. PELACOR ARBALEST also has the Flying Ability at level 5. Monsters with the Flying Ability have an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged Attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability. Pelacor Arbalest is one of those very powerful Monsters that can really be very effective in battles. I think he will be much more effective in battles thanks to the Flying Ability, especially when is upgraded to level 5. Frankly, I think he's one of the Monsters every team needs.

Currently my PELACOR ARBALEST NFT card is at 2 levels and I would love to upgrade it to level 8 in the future. In particular, I am aiming to upgrade this NFT card to the 5th level in the near future. The 4th level PELACOR ARBALEST will be much more useful to my team because when he has the Flying Ability he will be able to avoid some attacks and also his speed is 3 at level 4. These will make him much more effective in battles.

A rare NFT card, the PELACOR ARBALEST NFT card is currently starting at $0.21 on the market. The Gold Foil PELACOR ARBALEST NFT card starts at $3.79 on the market. Honestly, I didn't expect the price to be this low. After the Splinterlands Tower Defense pre-sale, I added the PELACOR ARBALEST NFT card among the NFT cards I wanted to upgrade.

    Battle Ruleset
    Fog of War
    Keep Your Distance
    Mana Cap 29

Fog of War rule means Monsters lose the Sneak and Snipe abilities.
Keep Your Distance rule means Monsters with Melee attack may not be used in battles.

Before starting the battle in the video, I reviewed the last 5 battles of the opposing player and the opposing player had some pretty powerful NFT cards. Considering the ruleset of the battle, I was almost certain that the opposing player would prefer Scarred Llama Mage and Kron the Undying. Honestly, I think the two of them are one of the best combos. Frankly, I use this combo a lot, but since it is the beginning of the season, I haven't rented them yet. It would be quite difficult to beat them as there is a Fog of War rule in the battle, but there is almost no team that cannot be defeated with a good strategy.

Frankly, I prefer to use Summoner GENERAL SLOAN together with PELACOR ARBALEST. But since I predicted Scarred Llama Mage and Kron the Undying would be on the opposing team, it was not possible for me to win the battle like this. So it would be a better strategy for me to choose GRANDMASTER RATHE as the Summoner in this battle. GRANDMASTER RATHE is a very powerful Summoner who can give all friendly monsters +1 Armor and the Void Armor Ability, making them very effective against Magic Attacks. I've also added 2 Monsters with Repair Ability to my team. And to win this battle, it was necessary to attack the opposing team with powerful attacks, so I added PELACOR ARBALEST to the team. And I put PORTAL SPINNER in the last position.

    Line Up

    Summoner: GRANDMASTER RATHE

I chose GRANDMASTER RATHE as Summoner in this battle because GRANDMASTER RATHE is an excellent Summoner that gives +1 Health, Void Armor, and Amplify Abilities to all friendly Monsters. According to my strategy in this battle, all the Monsters on my team would need the Void Armor Ability and +1 Armor quite a lot.

Magic Attacks hit the armor of Monsters with the Void Armor Ability before their Health.

Monsters with the Amplify Ability increase Magic Reflect, Return Fire, and Thorns damage to all enemy monsters by 1.

Grandmaster Rathe was the son of a blacksmith who taught him all he knew about the art of forging. However, he didn’t share his father’s interest in large weapons and heavy armors; he preferred those that were small and light, like daggers and other blades that could be concealed on one’s person. He also didn’t want to spend his entire life around the forges. They were hot, the hammers were heavy, and the work was hard.

Sometimes at the end of the day the townsfolk would build huge bonfires and fill the night with songs, dance, and laughter. It was these moments that Rathe enjoyed most, listening to exciting stories about the world beyond his little village.

Driven by a desire for adventure, Rathe eventually ran away. He had no plan, but he knew he wanted to travel the world and experience the kinds of stories that he had heard.

Eventually, however, he ran out of food, and at the next town he came to, he sold the only thing left that reminded him of home: a small dagger he had forged with his father.

He was surprised how easy it was to barter and profit. The watchman who purchased the dagger paid three times what it was worth. That’s when Rathe decided what he wanted to do with his life. He would become a merchant. Click to read more of LORE

    Position 1: PELACOR CONJURER

PELACOR CONJURER is a Monster with the Flying Ability and costs only 2 mana. I chose him because he only cost 2 mana and he has the Flying Ability and I put him in the first position. Frankly, I took the risk that the Pelacor Conjurer could be destroyed in the first rounds.

Many centuries ago, the Pelacor followed the prophet, Edalus, on what has become known as the ‘Exile.’ They followed him into the Mountains of Fire surrounding Mount Praetorous. For generations they lived alone in these mountains, hidden away. They were taught to worship the sun and moon gods, Solaki and Lunaki, deities dreamt into existence from the bones of Edalus’ dead parents and his zealous mind. The scriptures read that the two Gods were carried into the heavens upon pieces of consecrated land, torn from the World to raise them high, so that their worshipers would always look up to them and forever be beneath their great heavenly power.

On the darkest night of each year, Edalus would invoke rituals that would change the bodies of his people. Drawing upon the dormant power beneath the mountains, he caused angelic wings to sprout from their backs. This change was permanent and, in fact, most Pelacor offspring inherited the appendages from their parents.

When Edalus finally passed away, ancient as he was, there was infighting between the people as to who should lead. Fractures in their harmonious way of life started to appear, and two very definitive factions arose. One worshiped the brother God, Solaki, and the other worshiped the sister God, Lunaki. So began the ‘War of the Sons and Daughters’, where Pelacor fought against one another, a rivalry that still continues to this day amongst some.

When the magic veil over Praetoria and the Mountains of Fire fell, and the Chaos Legions invaded, the Pelacor decided they could hide away no more. Believing that the Chaos Legion would turn upon their floating Gods next if they conquered the Splinterlands, they began their ‘Great Descent’ into the lowlands, determined to fight this new threat that had arrived upon their world, and joined with the Lowlanders armies.

    Position 2: ADELADE BRIGHTWING

ADELADE BRIGHTWING is an awesome Monster that can attack targets with Magic Attacks and has Flying and Repair Abilities. The most important reason why I chose her in this battle was that she has Repair Ability and can attack the monster that is in the first position on the opposing team. I trust her very much in this battle and she had to survive until the end of the battle otherwise all my plans would be ruined. That's why I put her in the second position on the team.

Monsters with the Repair Ability restore some armor to the friendly Monster whose armor has taken the most damage.

There was never a more respected champion than Adelade Brightwing. Born and raised in the city of Centrum in Draykh-Nahka, Adelade always had a burning desire to help others. Growing up so near to the military base inspired her journey. She loved watching soldiers in their gleaming armor walk the streets of the city. She also enjoyed watching dragons soar through the skies, hoping one day she could fly as well.

As a young woman, Adelade joined the military at the youngest age permissible. She quickly was promoted through the ranks and become well-known for her assertive leadership. As well as for her faith in her deity, the Sky Lady. Goddess of the heavens, of light, and of honor in battle.

Adelade led the most powerful legions against the evilest of armies. Devils, demons, and all monstrosities fell before her. She was the champion of the Twenty Day Battle of The Sands against an army of undead. And due to her great heroics, she was brought before the Temple of the Sky Lady. Bestowed upon her was an enchantment that allowed her to sprout white wings and fly. It was the highest honor bestowed to followers of the goddess.

With the ability of flight, Adelade now turns her fury against the Chaos Legion to stop their spread of evil.

    Position 3: SCAVO HIRELING

SCAVO HIRELING is a Monster that has the Repair Ability and costs 3 mana. I thought 2 Monsters with Repair Ability in the team would be pretty good and I put Scavo Hireling in the third position on the team.

Scavo Hirelings are good at just about everything. Not great, not poor, just good. They enjoy doing menial tasks that don't require too much thought or effort. Whether it's digging ditches, bandaging wounds, or cooking a meal, they can get it done in no time at all. They accept coin as payment but don't really need it. They'd rather be paid in information, stories, and baubles as they love learning new things. Defenders of Praetoria have hired them to build walls and dig traps around the island to prevent the Chaos Legion from getting too close.

    Position 4: PELACOR ARBALEST

In this battle, it was necessary to attack the opposing team with powerful attacks, so I preferred PELACOR ARBALEST in this battle. Thanks to his Double Strike Ability, he would be able to attack his targets twice each round, meaning that their targets could take serious damage. I can say that I trusted him a lot in this battle and put him in fourth position in the team.

    Position 5: PORTAL SPINNER

PORTAL SPINNER is a powerful Monster that can attack targets with 2 Ranged Attacks and has the Scattershot Ability. I put the Portal Spinner in the last position in the team.

Portals Spinners are members of the Cult of the Rift, a faction within the Chaos Legion that harnesses rift magic to cast deadly spells.

Portal Spinners siphon life magic from their surroundings to open mini-rifts in the fabric of reality. Some thought to use these portals to travel between realms. However, after attempting to do so, many a Portal Spinner was consumed by whatever foul beasts dwelled on the other side of the portal. Others emerged... rearranged... and either dead or wishing they were dead.

Now, Portal Spinners simply use their portals to launch chaotic and random attacks against their enemies. They might open one portal beneath a fallen sword, boulder, or other weapon of convenience and a second portal above their enemies, sending the weapon through the rift and crashing down on its unsuspecting victim.

If facing enemies capable of flight, Portal Spinners have been known to use their portals to drop nets upon their foes, grounding them.

    Battle Comments

In this battle, according to my strategy, it was very important that the armor of the monster that was in the first position in my team was repaired 2 times in each round. Also, in order to win this battle, the Monster in the first position on the opposing team had to take 6+ damage each round on average. Because Kron the Undying would restore 6 own health each round when the last monster remained, so there was no other way to destroy him. Frankly, my strategy worked very well in this battle and everything went as planned, and my team won a pretty tough fight. PELACOR ARBALEST's attacks were quite effective, allowing the opposing team to take serious damage even though he missed some attacks. I recommend you to watch this great battle on video or battle link

    My opinion

PELACOR ARBALEST can be very effective in battles when used with a good strategy. But missing some attacks is really annoying in some battles. Also, PELACOR ARBALEST cannot evade many attacks, which can cause him to be destroyed too early in battle. Therefore, it is necessary to use him with a very good strategy. I think the 5th level PELACOR ARBALEST NFT card will be much more useful for the team so I need to upgrade my PELACOR ARBALEST NFT card to level 5 soon.

The Double Strike Ability is really a ability that can be very effective in battles. Imagine if the last monster on the opposing team had this ability, then the Monsters with the Repair Ability on my team would be useless. Honestly, any monster on the opposing team having the Double Strike Ability, could have ruined my entire strategy.

What are your thoughts on the battle in video and PELACOR ARBALEST? I would be glad if you write your thoughts in the comments.
