Siempre me ha gustado la canción que les traigo hoy, y para serles sincero, aunque muchos pueden llegar a pensar que es algo simple su armonía y su melodía, más que todo los instrumentistas, pienso que es una de las piezas más contagiosas del repertorio típico venezolano.

¿A que me refiero con contagiosa?, a que su melodía, rítmica, armonía y letra se quedan grabadas fácilmente en la mente con solo escucharla un par de veces, o por lo menos eso me pasa a mi, la tocó un par de veces y ya ando con la melodía todo el día en la cabeza jajaja.

La canción que se me había olvidado comentarles, se llama "Compadre Pancho", actualmente es muy utilizada por lo menos aquí en Venezuela en las primeras clases de aprender el instrumento conocido como Cuatro, y bueno no solo con este instrumento, si no con muchos.

Compadre Pancho es una pieza llena en gran parte de Gracia y humor, con la rítmica del merengue Venezolano, es muy representativo del verdadero sentir popular del venezolano. Esta pieza fue compuesta por Lorenzo Herrera, la verdad que tenía magia en sus creaciones musicales, y dejo un legado de grandes temas en nuestro territorio.

I have always liked the song that I bring you today, and to be honest, although many may think that its harmony and melody is somewhat simple, more than all the instrumentalists, I think it is one of the most contagious pieces of the typical Venezuelan repertoire.

What do I mean by contagious? I mean that its melody, rhythm, harmony and lyrics are easily engraved in the mind just by listening to it a couple of times, or at least that's what happens to me, I played it a couple of times and I have the melody in my head all day long hahaha.

The song that I forgot to tell you about, is called "Compadre Pancho", nowadays it is very used at least here in Venezuela in the first classes to learn the instrument known as Cuatro, and well not only with this instrument, but with many others.

Compadre Pancho is a piece full of grace and humor, with the rhythm of the Venezuelan merengue, it is very representative of the true popular feeling of the Venezuelan. This piece was composed by Lorenzo Herrera, the truth is that he had magic in his musical creations, and left a legacy of great songs in our territory.
