En este video me acompañarán a un sitio increíble, en el cual acamparé con mi hermana @keritroberts por una sola noche, el sitio se ubica al Noroeste del Estado Táchira, bastante cerca de la frontera con el Estado Mérida - Venezuela, donde se encuentra un lago llamado "Laguna Brava".

In this video you will accompany me to an incredible site, where I will camp with my sister @keritroberts for one night, the site is located northwest of Táchira State, quite close to the border with the State of Merida - Venezuela, where there is a lake called "Laguna Brava".

Allí en el mapa pueden observar el recorrido para llegar al área donde acamparemos. Salimos desde la ciudad de San Cristóbal camino a nuestro destino, cerca de las 8am, la distancia aproximada entre esta ciudad y el sitio de destino es de 74km.

There on the map you can see the route to get to the area where we will camp. We leave from the city of San Cristobal on our way to our destination, around 8am, the approximate distance between this city and the destination site is 74km.

En el camino podíamos ver paisajes muy bonitos como el que aquí les presento, el cielo, las nubes, las montañas donde hay variedades de sembradíos, todo conformaba como una pintura que en cada instante quería guardar en mi memoria para siempre.

On the way we could see very beautiful landscapes like the one I present here, the sky, the clouds, the mountains where there are varieties of crops, everything was like a painting that at every moment I wanted to keep in my memory forever.

Al ser tan bonitos los paisajes, quise ir a tomar aire fresco en la salida del trasporte, con mucho cuidado eso si, y claro que también para contemplar mejor el paisaje.

As the scenery was so beautiful, I wanted to get some fresh air at the exit of the transport, very carefully of course, and of course also to contemplate the scenery better.

Al llegar al sitio donde el trasporte se quedaría estacionado y de donde comenzaríamos a caminar, descubrí que estaba este amigo equino observándonos y comiendo un poco, así que me acerqué para verlo mejor y tomarle algunas fotografías.

When we arrived at the place where the transport would be parked and from where we would start walking, I discovered that this equine friend was watching us and eating a little, so I approached him to get a better look and take some pictures.

Aquí vamos mi hermana y yo en la caminata hacía el sitio de camping, estábamos algo agotados pero contentos aún así. No me di cuenta que el lente estaba un poco empañado y como no había tanta luz natural, la fotografía no quedó con la calidad esperada, pero al menos existe, jajaja.

Here are my sister and I on the hike to the campsite, we were a bit exhausted but still happy. I didn't realize that the lens was a bit fogged up and since there wasn't so much natural light, the picture didn't have the expected quality, but at least it exists, hahaha.

Mientras caminábamos y caía la noche, me di cuenta que aquel punto resplandeciente en el cielo, cobijado entre nubes y neblina era la luna, la cual fue nuestra acompañante, guía y observadora silenciosa, mientras anochecía y seguíamos caminando para llegar a nuestro destino.

As we walked and night fell, I realized that that shining point in the sky, sheltered between clouds and fog was the moon, which was our companion, guide and silent observer, while it was getting dark and we continued walking to reach our destination.

Cuando llegamos al lugar de destino, estaba bastante oscuro, eran aproximadamente las 8pm. Estando en el sitio, buscamos el lugar adecuado para armar nuestras carpas, armé la carpa donde dormiríamos mi hermana y yo y dejamos todo listo para comer y dormir allí.

When we arrived at our destination, it was quite dark, it was approximately 8pm. Once on site, we looked for the right place to set up our tents, I set up the tent where my sister and I would sleep and left everything ready to eat and sleep there.

Como la temperatura del lugar era medianamente baja, decidimos encender una fogata, para ello buscamos algunas ramas secas, y cualquier otra cosa que nos permitiera encender la fogata y ayudara a mantener vivas las llamas. Nos costó bastante encenderla y más aún mantenerla encendida, pues la madera que encontramos estaba bastante húmeda, afortunadamente y luego de insistir la encendimos y logramos tomar algo de calor. Estuvimos un rato allí avivando las llamas, hablando, bromeando e interactuando con las demás personas que estaban con nosotros. Finalmente nos fuimos a dormir para descansar y abrigarnos.

As the temperature of the place was moderately low, we decided to light a fire, for this we looked for some dry branches, and anything else that would allow us to light the fire and help keep the flames alive. It was quite difficult to light it and even more difficult to keep it lit, because the wood we found was quite wet, fortunately and after insisting we lit it and managed to get some heat. We were there for a while stoking the flames, talking, joking and interacting with the other people who were with us. Finally we went to bed to rest and get warm.
