During the many shows I had the privilege of performing with him, he always interpreted a song that has become iconic in the musical legacy of that country and the world: "Chan Chan". Therefore, I have decided to share with all of you this beautiful song. It was composed by the aforementioned performer himself and was released to the world in 1984. Throughout the years, it has been interpreted and covered by many artists, but one of the most outstanding and worldwide recognized versions is that of the Buena Vista Social Club, which was released in 1997. This particular version catapulted the song to international fame. The essence that this piece conveys to me lies in its typical Cuban son rhythm, its minor chords and its lyrics, which are a faithful reflection of the culture and spirit of Cuba. Casualmente, mi maestro de música también compartía esa nacionalidad. Durante los numerosos shows que tuve el privilegio de realizar junto a él, siempre interpretaba una canción que se ha vuelto icónica en el legado musical de ese país y del mundo: "Chan Chan". Por tanto, he decidido compartir con todos ustedes esta hermosa canción. Fue compuesta por el propio intérprete mencionado anteriormente y fue lanzada al mundo en 1984.
