Importance of Hive Power .:. Recap of Hive Humpday Hangout Ep.03 (Live Show recording inside)

Last Wednesday (two days ago at the moment of writing this post), we had another great Hive Humpday Hangout show in the Ecency Discord! The audience is growing, which makes me happy as that means that we are sharing some great and useful information... Adding value to people's lives and adding value to this blockchain as topics are closely connected to HIVE!

So, this time, we were talking about Hive Power and everything that is connected with it, Hive Power delegations, and of course #HivePUD as the show was live on November 1st, right on the day when Hivians like to power up their HIVE the most!

As I have recorded the previous show and people liked that idea, I have decided to do the same this time... Topic was ultra-important, and sharing the recording with people who didn't make it to the show could benefit to them a lot! But, I messed things up... 😞 I did record the show, but for some reason, with the same setup as last time, my recording app didn't save the sound that was coming from Discord! So, only my voice got recorded! 😔

I would like to apologize to @achim03 and @blind-spot for this inconvenience as they were guys who were sharing their thoughts on the mic! It's a pity that you won't be able to listen to their insights about Hive Power, but there is a valuable lesson there... To not depend on my computer skills, the best way to not miss these things is to come to the LIVE show and get it firsthand! Another advantage is that you can participate in the chat (or voice) discussion with others and share your experience, helping others, and learning new things yourself!

The show itself was great as we made a new record by having 14 participants in total during the show... Some had to leave us earlier, but it was nice to see new people coming! Let us see if we can beat that record next time!

Regarding the recorded show, I'm sharing with you the "rest" of the show, or the part where I was talking, while I have cut out the awkward silence (when the app didn't record others talking)... In the end, there is an hour of talk about different topics connected to HivePower... I went a bit deeper on topics of centralization (and decentralization!), and the main functions of Hive Power, but also shared my approach to it...

We had a small interactive question in Discord where I tried to explain different ways to use Hive Power "properly", depending on your "main occupation" on HIVE... As you probably know, you can be anything you want to be on HIVE, a blogger, an investor, a gamer, or a curator (as @palomap3) reminded us during the show... What is important is that, in the end, Hive Power is the thing that connects us all and it is in our interest to use it wisely and effectively!
