Hello dear friends, how una dey na? Well, I believe say everybody dey kamkpe like dele. In this week 75 of #afritunes, I'm bringing to you a song in my Urhobo language. The title of the song is Oghene wo runo. The audio of this song was sent to me via WhatsApp by one of my good friends who is more like a brother to me. According to him, he thought of me immediately he saw the song and decided to share with me.

Fortunately, when he sent the song to me, I was outside doing music with @ksam my very good friend and brother who came to visit me. We already did a song for his Afritunes post for the week and we were thinking of a song for my entry when out of divine providence the audio of the song landed via my WhatsApp.

let me tell you a few things about the song. This song was written by an Urhobo gospel artist by name #Kefee more than 11 years ago. The song talks about the grace of God which leads us to great positions that we do not really deserve in life. In a nut shell, the song highlights the fact that we are where we are today because of the grace of God in our lives. As such, we need to always worship and appreciate God for his great works in our lives. I was very much inspired to present this song for this week's event because the lyrics of the song is a reflection of the story of my life. Interestingly, when I interpreted the song to Ksam, he was so inspired and he played the guitar with all his skills. I hope you receive some inspiration by listening to us play our violin and guitar and also sing for you.
