Esta partida fue la que dio ventaja a un joven de 22 años llamado Gari Kasparov en el año 1985 y que se coronaría como campeón del mundo y no solo en ese momento sino que pasaría a ser uno de los mejores de toda la historia, cuando vi esta partida me puse el puesto de Kasparov y supe que en su mente solo estaba ganar el título mundial y lo mejor de todo esto es que se enfrentaba al entonces campeón del mundo Anatoly Karpov con 34 años de edad, tienen que ver la manera tan arrolladora con la que Kasparov explota la Apertura Siciliana que desde siempre ha sido su favorita.

Kasparov con negras Karpov con blancas, vean la manera tan grandiosa en la que Kasparov domina el centro, es necesario que en este punto Karpov haga algo porque básicamente el tablero dice "Gari Kasparov" por todos lados, lo mejor aun es que en esta partida el campeón del mundo Karpov permite que el retador le dé Jaque Mate, algo que es muy poco usual.
