Un saludo a todos los amantes del deporte que forman parte de esta comunidad y para los que no, también. Mientras escribo esto son altas horas de la noche, pero no quería dejar de compartir con ustedes mi experiencia futbolística del día la cual se vio alimentada por dos grandes partidos. El más importante por supuesto fue la final de Copa Libertadores de América 2023 que se jugó en el mítico estadio Maracaná. En este partido Boca Juniors quería revalidar el título luego de varios años sin obtenerlo, pero en frente tenía al Fluminense de Brasil el cual quería ganarlo por primera vez.

El otro partido no tuvo tanta relevancia a nivel continental, pero si acá en Perú, país en el que resido actualmente. Se jugó la final de ida entre el Universitario de Deportes, popularmente conocido como la "U", contra su eterno rival Alianza Lima. Les hablo de este partido ya que me vi inevitablemente involucrado, mis compañeros de trabajo y el peruano en general es muy fan y estos dos equipos tienen las hinchadas mas grandes, es así vi el juego con la intensión de ver quien ganaba para así hacerle bromas a mis compañeros de trabajo 😅.

Greetings to all the sports lovers who are part of this community and for those who are not, as well. As I write this it is late at night, but I didn't want to stop sharing with you my soccer experience of the day which was fueled by two great matches. The most important of course was the Copa Libertadores de America 2023 final which was played at the mythical Maracana stadium. In this match Boca Juniors wanted to revalidate the title after several years without winning it, but in front of them was Fluminense from Brazil who wanted to win it for the first time.

The other match was not so important at the continental level, but it was here in Peru, the country where I currently reside. The first leg of the final was played between Universitario de Deportes, popularly known as the "U", against their eternal rival Alianza Lima. I am talking about this game because I was inevitably involved, my coworkers and Peruvians in general are big fans and these two teams have the biggest fans, so I watched the game with the intention of seeing who won to make jokes to my coworkers 😅.
