I know that comparisons are hateful, but in this case it is not my intention to say if one game is better than another, I just wanted to show you this game that we could say that has its share of inspiration from mythical game like Super Mario Bros. Adventure Island is a platform game released in 1986 (3 years after Super Mario Bros) that adventures us in the search or rescue of the main character's girlfriend, she is not a princess but I think we all understand the intention or reference.

This game was released for NES and later for other platforms, it only has an option for one player unlike Super Mario Bros that gives option for two, but another aspect in which they are similar is that you can not select a game difficulty but it increases as you go through the scenarios.

Se que las comparaciones son odiosas, pero en este caso no es mi intensión decir si un juego es mejor que otro, solo quería mostrarles este juego que podríamos decir que tiene su cuota de inspiración de mítico juego como lo es Super Mario Bros. Adventure Island es un juego de plataformas lanzado en el año 1986 (3 años después de Super Mario Bros) que nos aventura en la búsqueda o rescate de la novia del personaje principal, no es una princesa pero creo que todos entendemos la intención o referencia.

Este juego fue lanzado para NES y luego para otras plataformas, solo tiene opción para un jugador a diferencia de Super Mario Bros que da opción para dos, pero otro aspecto en el que son similares es que no se puede seleccionar una dificultad de juego sino que ésta va aumentando a medida que se van pasando los escenarios.

Una de las cosas que me gustan de este juego son los escenarios, creo que tienen muy lindos colores y también mucho dinamismo, claro, esto ultimo que menciono quizá se aprecie mejor en los stages posteriores; y bueno al igual que en Marios Bros, no puedes regresar atrás una vez avanzas.

En el video podrás apreciar de mejor manera éste juego que fue sin duda uno muy exitoso en su momento y muy jugado por mi persona, aunque recuerdo que no avanzaba mucho ya que estaba muy niño y no era muy ágil, pero lo apreciaba mucho.
