We want to start this post expressing our solidarity and wishes for a speedy recovery for Mr. Armando Linares, father of one of the pillars of this community @jesuslnrs. Mr. Armando is currently going through a difficult health situation quite delicate and in that sense we ask all of you to join your prayers for him to be victorious in this difficult battle he is waging, we are sure that the positive energy of all will be vital and of great help.

Speaking of our presentation, we wanted to bring you a very special song for us, this one in particular became a regular on our playlist at the time of the pandemic and the confinement and "free" time gave us the opportunity to explore more in depth artists that we listened to but we knew they had more to offer. Rod Stewart is one of those singers who continues to leave his mark on the musical world and who continues to reinvent himself despite having a long career behind him, there are many spectacular songs he has to offer and this is certainly one of them.

"I don't wanna talk about it" is a song from the year 1975 and corresponds to the album Atlantic Crossing, the first version which is the one on the album, is a simple instrumental but that catches you with its beautiful melody; however, the one we usually listen to is a version with orchestra and performed in duet with Amy Bell; both stand out with their singing and end up giving us an extraordinary piece. Our version is evidently acoustic and adapted with the available resources, each one of us sang a verse to generate a little distinction and personal touch.

Queremos iniciar este post expresando nuestra solidaridad y deseos de pronta recuperación para el S. Armando Linares, padre de uno de los pilares de esta comunidad @jesuslnrs. El Sr. Armando actualmente está pasando por una difícil situación de salud bastante delicada y en ese sentido pedimos a todos ustedes que unan sus oraciones en pro de que salga victorioso en esta difícil batalla que está librando, estamos seguros que la energía positiva de todos será vital y de gran ayuda.

Hablando de nuestra presentación, quisimos traerles una canción muy especial para nosotros, está en particular se hizo habitual en nuestro playlist en la época de la pandemia y es que el encierro y el tiempo “libre” nos dio oportunidad de explorar más a fondo artistas que escuchábamos pero que sabíamos que tenían más que ofrecer. Rod Stewart es de esos cantantes que siguen dejando huellas en el mundo musical y que sigue reinventando a pesar de tener una larga carrera a cuestas, son muchas las canciones espectaculares que tiene para ofrecernos y está sin duda es una de ellas.

“I don't wanna talk about it” es una canción del año 1975 y corresponde al álbum Atlantic Crossing, la primera versión que es la del disco, es una sencilla instrumental pero que atrapa con su hermosa melodía; sin embargo, la que nosotros escuchamos habitualmente es una versión con orquesta y que realiza a dúo con Amy Bell; ambos se destacan con su canto y terminan regalándonos una pieza extraordinaria. Nuestra versión es evidentemente acústica y adaptada con los recursos disponibles, cada uno de nosotros canto una estrofa para generar una pequeña distinción y toque personal.
