Feliz navidad/Merry christmas

Han Sido unos días extraños, con una mezcla de alegría y cansancio que a veces me provoca no salir de casa a cumplir mis responsabilidades, las presentaciones que hemos tenido en estos días me han dejado muy agotada física y mentalmente y aunque es algo que disfruto mucho, al día siguiente me pasa factura y quisiera parar.

Hace días le comentaba a mi esposo que debíamos tomar unas vacaciones y dedicarnos a pasar tiempo de calidad con nuestro hijo, el aceptó y quedamos que el día de ayer "viernes" sería nuestra última presentación, pero nos hicieron dos invitaciones más que no pudimos rechazar, primero porque son personas que conocemos y han Sido una apoyo increíble desde hace mucho y la otra razón es porque también compartiremos una cena navideña con ellos y eso nos servirá para compartir y a la vez llevaremos un parrandon para disfrutar de aguinaldos, parrandas y villancicos.

It has been a strange few days, with a mixture of joy and tiredness that sometimes causes me not to leave home to fulfill my responsibilities, the presentations we have had these days have left me very exhausted physically and mentally and although it is something I enjoy very much, the next day it takes its toll and I would like to stop.

Days ago I told my husband that we should take a vacation and dedicate ourselves to spend quality time with our son, he agreed and we agreed that yesterday "Friday" would be our last presentation, but they made us two more invitations that we could not refuse, first because they are people we know and have been an incredible support for a long time and the other reason is because we will also share a Christmas dinner with them and that will serve us to share and at the same time we will bring a parrandon to enjoy aguinaldos, parrandas and carols.

Así que con estas dos últimas fechas cerramos este ciclo musical y así nos dedicamos a descansar y pasar tiempo con nuestros familiares, justamente hoy les canto un tema muy popular de mi país Tucusito, Tucusito, han pasando los años y aún se siguen escuchando estas bellas bellas melodías durante la época navideña, en todas la escuelas, hogares y fiestas podemos escucharlas y para mí es un motivo de orgullo poder interpretar uno de sus temas hoy.

Le pedí a mi esposo que me acompañara en el cuatro porque aún no me he dedicado a practicar, de hecho mi conocimiento en el instrumento es nulo, pero ya tengo en mente poner manos a la obra porque hay muchos temas venezolanos que me encantaría interpretarles, pero vamos poco a poco para no saturarme.

So with these last two dates we close this musical cycle and so we dedicate ourselves to rest and spend time with our families, just today I sing a very popular song of my country Tucusito, Tucusito, the years have passed and still continue to hear these beautiful melodies during the Christmas season, in all schools, homes and parties we can hear them and for me it is a source of pride to interpret one of his songs today.

I asked my husband to accompany me on the cuatro because I have not yet dedicated myself to practice, in fact my knowledge of the instrument is nil, but I already have in mind to get down to work because there are many Venezuelan songs that I would love to interpret, but we are going little by little so as not to saturate me.
