Abrir los ojos y darse cuenta que la realidad que percibimos es diferente a veces duele, la decepción suele romper nuestro corazón y es una herida que en ocasiones puede tardar en sanar.

Meditando en si yo en algún momento he pasado por esto, me hice la pregunta si en algún momento vi alguna señal de que esta persona estaba siendo hipócrita conmigo y llegué a la conclusión de que sí, solo que en mi mente inventaba excusas para apañar su compartimiento, y no fue una sola persona, sino varias, tanto amistades como relaciones.

Opening our eyes and realizing that the reality we perceive is different sometimes hurts, disappointment often breaks our heart and is a wound that can sometimes take a long time to heal.

Meditating on whether at some point I have gone through this, I asked myself the question if at some point I saw any sign that this person was being hypocritical with me and I came to the conclusion that yes, only that in my mind I was making excuses to fix their compartment, and it was not just one person, but several, both friendships and relationships.

Quizás algunos saben disimular muy bien sus verdaderas intenciones a tal punto de envolver completamente a cualquiera en sus caprichos, pero hay otros que se aprovechan de todo el amor y vulnerabilidad que otros tienen y de esa manera logran mantener "cautivos" por así decirlo a quienes tengan la debilidad de caer ante su disfraz.

Esta canción trata de despertar, abrir los ojos y tomar la decisión de amarse primero antes de seguir conformándose con las migajas que le ofrecen. Me recuerda mis años de rebelde, aquellos tiempos de amistades y complicidad dónde mi lema era el no dejarme dominar por nadie, jajaja no les niego que más de una vez metí la pata con mi actitud pero se sentía bien experimentarlo.

This song is about waking up, opening your eyes and making the decision to love yourself first before continuing to settle for the crumbs that are offered to you. It reminds me of my rebellious years, those times of friendships and complicity where my motto was to not let myself be dominated by anyone, hahaha I don't deny that more than once I screwed up with my attitude but it felt good to experience it.
