  Hello! I hope you all are okay. Today we will hear the harmony of the chorale N ° 80 "O Haupt voll Blut und Wunden".

  This Chorale has an upbeat beginning, it is written in the key of Re major under an indicator figure of 4/4. It is made up of a set of 6 phrases, each of 8 beats (2 bars) with beginnings in upbeat. The predominant rhythmic elements are the black (always present at the beginning of each phrase), pair of eighth notes (used to generate movement and variety with passing notes and embroideries), and dotted white (used in various phrase endings ).

  The first phrase takes place in the key of D major, the 2nd phrase begins in the dominant of the sixth degree of Re major giving the feeling of modulating the key of Si harmonic minor. The third returns home, Re major. The 4th walks through Mi harmonic minor to finish in its dominant role. The 5th modulates to A major and finally, the 6th phrase, as expected, returns to D major and ends with its respective tonic chord.

  Este Chorale tiene un comienzo en anacrusa, se encuentra escrito en la tonalidad de Re mayor bajo una cifra indicadora de 4/4. Está conformado por un conjunto de 6 frases, cada una de 8 tiempos (2 compases) con comienzos en anacrusa. Los elementos rítmicos predominantes son la negra (siempre presente al comienzo de cada frase), par de corcheas (empleadas para generar movimiento y variedad con las notas de paso y las bordaduras), y la blanca con puntillo (se usa en varias terminaciones de frases).

  La primera frase se desarrolla en la tonalidad de Re mayor, la 2da frase inicia en la dominante del sexto grado de Re mayor dando la sensación de modular a la tonalidad de Si menor armónica. La tercera regresa a casa, Re mayor. La 4ta se pasea por Mi menor armónica para terminar en su función dominante. La 5ta modula a La mayor y por último, la 6ta frase, como es de esperarse, regresa a Re mayor y finaliza con su respectivo acorde de tónica.
