There is almost no song that doesn't get to me easily and I have no favourites when it comes to music but this particular song hit me differently and I thought of sharing it with any who would care to reflect on it with me.

I was supposed to submit the cover of the song as an entry to Hive Open Mic but decided to go for this song instead which I think suits perfectly for the theme. Having said that, this song got me reflecting on a lot of things.

I guess this is where listening carefully to song lyrics and letting it flow through comes in... I allowed the song get to me and it made me think so much about life and after life, what would be left behind.

That is the only thing we would leave behind when we die and the song made me understand once again that those memories can be bad or good depending on what you decide to leave behind. How you live your life will determine if people will remember that you were here and what you did while you were.

"I was here" By Beyonce is a song that gets one to reflect on things he or she has done or would do in life that when they die, won't have any regrets.... Most especially, how each and everyone of us has touch each others lives while we are living.

No need to die and have regrets of not doing the right thing when you had the opportunities, live your life right now by helping the world become a better place, die happy and those you left behind will remember and know that you were here according to Beyonce.

This is not intended to be a negative or pessimistic post, it is just for a reflection.

Casi no hay canción que no me llegue fácilmente y no tengo favoritos cuando se trata de música, pero esta canción en particular me impactó de manera diferente y pensé en compartirla con cualquiera que quisiera reflexionar conmigo.

Se suponía que debía enviar la versión de la canción como una entrada a Hive Open Mic, pero decidí optar por esta canción que creo se adapta perfectamente al tema. Habiendo dicho eso, esta canción me hizo reflexionar sobre muchas cosas.

Supongo que aquí es donde entra en juego escuchar atentamente las letras de las canciones y dejar que fluyan... Permití que la canción me afectara y me hizo pensar mucho sobre la vida y después de la vida, lo que quedaría atrás.

Eso es lo único que dejaríamos atrás cuando muramos y la canción me hizo entender una vez más que esos recuerdos pueden ser malos o buenos dependiendo de lo que decidas dejar atrás. La forma en que vives tu vida determinará si la gente recordará que estuviste aquí y lo que hiciste mientras estuviste.

"I was here" de Beyonce es una canción que hace que uno reflexione sobre las cosas que ha hecho o haría en la vida de las que cuando muera no se arrepentirá... Muy especialmente, cómo todos y cada uno de nosotros hemos tocado la vida de los demás mientras vivimos.

No es necesario que mueras y te arrepientas de no haber hecho lo correcto cuando tuviste las oportunidades, vive tu vida ahora mismo ayudando al mundo a convertirse en un lugar mejor, muere feliz y aquellos que dejaste atrás recordarán y sabrán que estuviste aquí de acuerdo con Beyoncé.

Esta no pretende ser una publicación negativa o pesimista, es solo una reflexión.
