Alan Wake is a well polished, beautifully made game by Finnish developer Remedy Entertainment and in my opinion still one of the scariest physiological thrillers to date. Alan with his wife Alice retreat to the small scenic town of Bright Falls to reignite Alan's once thriving writing career. A shroud of mystery surrounds his latest crime story as Alan starts to experience horrific dreams as if read straight from his writing pad. Unbeknownst to them a sinister entity spawn from the pages of Alan's work intent on creating havoc and driving Alan into madness. Is the entity real or just in Alan's head. Find out for yourself!
