    Pork Belly Stir Fry

Good day foodies! I hope you're having a wonderful time cooking up a treat we're back again this week with a new recipe. But before I dive into the cooking in this video I want to explain a bit about what I am trying to acheive with these new videos.

If you use Tik Tok, Instagram or even Facebook now you will see these short videos of people cooking meals. It seems to be the new trend on social media these days. They don't include much text and don't go for very long.

So I thought I would tap into this new found viral craze and bring it to 3speak and into Hive Blockchain. Hopefully we can pick up views and encourage more people to join, I mean there is no real point to uploading these to FB or Insta unless you have a business and trying to get people to view your profile and buy from you.

    Now onto the nitty gritty!

Have you ever seen those thin pork belly strips and wondered what you could cook with them? we'll you're in for a treat because tonight I will show you the perfect recipe for them! They're pretty good so you will need to fight off sticky fingers in between otherwise you won't have enough to plate up!

Start off by making the sauce and combine 1/4 cup brown sugar, two table spoons soy sauce, to tea spoons fish sauce, two teaspoons oyster sauce, salt, pepper, 2 cloves of garlic and a table spoon of water and mix well.

Now head over to the stove and start frying your pork belly slices and it is important to add them to a cold frypan no oil and let them cook as the pan heats up which will enable a crispy fry. The reason why we use no oil is to maintain full flavour and putting the meat into a cold pan will see the fat start to melt and the meat will cook in it's own fat providing a fuller flavour.

While you're cooking the meat make your favourite kind of rice, I tend to use jasmine rice for this dish as it provides additional flavour.

Once all the meat is finished cooking (you'll) need to do it in batches. drain the fat out if you like you can keep a few table spoons pour in the prepare suace than add the meat back into the pan and simmer on low for 5 minutes stirying enabling the flavour to soak into the meat and thicken.

If you like you can add some spring onions at the end once the dish is cooked and sprinkle with dried shallots (I didn't have any left). If you're also keen you can add fried egg and some vegitables but that is totally upto you and your preference but the dish is quite lovely as a standalone dish.

    And enjoy!

A very simple recipe that is full of flavour and the whole family will enjoy.

I hope you liked this weeks recipe and I will see you all again next week!
