Los Panchos, nada es lo que parece, nacieron en Nueva York en 1944 y sus creadores, los mexicanos Chucho Navarro y Alfredo El Güero Gil, debieron nacionalizarse estadounidenses durante unos años y enfrentarse a la posibilidad de luchar en la Segunda Guerra Mundial.27 feb. 2005 Fueron los más grandes, Los Panchos dejaron una dulce marca imborrable en la música popular hispanoamericana del siglo XX, imponiendo el modelo de los llamados tríos románticos en el género del bolero.
