Hello everyone hope you're all doing good? It's another week on hive open mic and the theme for the week is cacao. It's a beautiful theme because it symbolizes the pleasure of life and nature. Cacao has been used for centuries and it's one of the major agricultural commodities, it is grown for different purposes, and some people use it as a source of income, and that's one of the importance of putting more value on nature. The theme of the song motivated me to search for a song that will align with the theme, and I came across a song By Kerliene, titled, Mother Earth. I love the song after listening to it.

The song is all about placing value on nature, we should destroy nature because of the money we want to make. There are lots of places In my country where the cacao trees were cut down in other to build something different there. And apart from the cacao tree, people cut down trees around them to make money, and the more we get involved in deforestation, the more we cause hazards to the environment.

Deforested areas are less resilient to natural disasters such as flooding, landslides, drought, etc So it's important we preserve them. Deforestation affects not only the environment but also human societies that rely on nature for their livelihoods and cultural practices. Nature is good important to mankind, and We should not damage nature because we want to make income from it, and nonetheless, nature can also serve as a source of income for us.

Hola a todos, espero que estéis bien. Es otra semana en el micrófono abierto de la colmena y el tema de la semana es el cacao. Es un tema precioso porque simboliza el placer de la vida y la naturaleza. El cacao se ha utilizado durante siglos y es uno de los principales productos agrícolas, se cultiva con diferentes fines, y algunas personas lo utilizan como fuente de ingresos, y esa es una de la importancia de dar más valor a la naturaleza. El tema de la canción me motivó a buscar una canción que se alineara con el tema, y di con una canción de Kerliene, titulada, Madre Tierra. Me encanta la canción después de escucharla.

La canción trata de dar valor a la naturaleza, no debemos destruir la naturaleza por el dinero que queremos ganar. En mi país hay muchos lugares donde se han talado árboles de cacao para construir algo diferente. Y aparte del árbol del cacao, la gente tala árboles a su alrededor para ganar dinero, y cuanto más nos implicamos en la deforestación, más peligros causamos al medio ambiente.

Las zonas deforestadas son menos resistentes a catástrofes naturales como inundaciones, corrimientos de tierra, sequías, etc. Por eso es importante que las conservemos. La deforestación no sólo afecta al medio ambiente, sino también a las sociedades humanas que dependen de la naturaleza para su subsistencia y sus prácticas culturales. La naturaleza es bien importante para la humanidad, y no debemos dañarla porque queramos obtener ingresos de ella.
