Blessed week dear friends of Open Mic! What a joy to be back in this musical space, sharing a little bit with all the great talents that make life here. This week's theme is Light of the World chosen by featured artist @jessicaossom.

I am convinced that I will read great reflections on this theme this week, but I want to take something I read from the post that @rosana6 presented in which she associated it with God and reading that, inspired me to sing the theme that I bring you today.

The lyrics of the song are very emotional and reflect a deep faith in God as a source of love, protection and comfort. He is a refuge in difficult times and his constant presence guides us like a lighthouse in the darkness, helping us to overcome life's obstacles. For me, this song is a testimony of the personal relationship that many people have with God, and his ability to provide love and hope in difficult times.

All of this leads me to think that when we are in harmony with God, we ourselves can also become a light for others, helping them out of the darkness that the problems of daily life can bring. I confess that God has been generous with me, because I always get people who become light in my life when problems blind me and they reach out to me, even when it is hard for me to accept it.

This song belongs to a group from my state called Jesed (they are no longer active) and I heard it in my parish and from there I learned it, I could not get the lyrics anywhere, the group does not have any social network where to find its content. I hope you enjoy my version.

¡Bendecida semana queridos amigos de Open Mic! Qué alegría estar nuevamente en este espacio musical, compartiendo un poco con todos los grandes talentos que hacen vida acá. El tema de esta semana es Light of the World (Luz del Mundo) escogido por la artista destacada @jessicaossom.

Estoy convencida de que leeré grandes reflexiones sobre este tema en esta semana, pero quiero tomar algo que leí del post que presentó @rosana6 en el que ella lo asociaba con Dios y leer eso, me inspiró a cantar el tema que hoy les traigo.

La letra de la canción es muy emotiva y refleja una profunda fe en Dios como fuente de amor, protección y consuelo. Él es un refugio en tiempos difíciles y su presencia constante nos guía como un faro en la oscuridad, ayudándonos a superar los obstáculos de la vida. Para mí, esta canción es un testimonio de la relación personal que muchas personas tienen con Dios, y su capacidad para brindar amor y esperanza en momentos difíciles.

Todo esto, me lleva a pensar que cuando estamos en armonía con Dios, nosotros mismos podemos convertirnos también en luz para otros, ayudándoles a salir de la oscuridad, que los problemas de la vida diaria puedan suponer. Les confieso que Dios ha sido generoso conmigo, pues siempre consigo personas que se convierten en luz en mi vida cuando los problemas me ciegan y ellos me tienden la mano, aun cuando me cuesta aceptarla.

Este tema pertenece a una agrupación de mi estado llamada Jesed (ya no están activos) y la escuché en mi parroquia y de allí la aprendí, no pude conseguir la letra por ningún lado, la que la agrupación no cuenta con ninguna red social en donde buscar su contenido. Espero que disfruten mi versión.
