Hello lovely people, how are you doing? For me, I am doing well and I'm getting ready for the weekend engagement and enjoyments!
This is the singing voice week 23 on our beloved PUKUMUNDO community and for this week I'll be presenting a very popular black American gospel rock song titled, oh happy day by the Edwin hawkin singers.

Hola gente linda, ¿cómo están? A mí me va bien y me estoy preparando para el fin de semana de compromiso y disfrute!
Esta es la voz cantante de la semana 23 en nuestra querida comunidad PUKUMUNDO y para esta semana estaré presentando una canción de gospel rock estadounidense muy popular titulada oh happy day de los cantantes de Edwin Hawkin.

The song was originally recorded as a hymn gospel in 1967 but with time it has evolved into different alternative genres of music like Rock, Funk, Jazz and so on.
Many other celebrity choirs and song groups have covered the song severally.
The song became popular globally when it was performed in a black American film titled "Sisters act" in the movie a school choir of young students performed the song, making it very widely accepted.

La canción se grabó originalmente como un himno gospel en 1967, pero con el tiempo ha evolucionado a diferentes géneros musicales alternativos como Rock, Funk, Jazz, etc.
Muchos otros coros y grupos de canciones de celebridades han hecho versiones de la canción por separado.
La canción se hizo popular en todo el mundo cuando se interpretó en una película americana negra titulada "Sisters act" en la película, un coro escolar de jóvenes estudiantes interpretó la canción, lo que la hizo muy aceptada.

Personally I got to know about the song from that movie, and I am sure that many others did.
Interestingly I came across a video on YouTube where the song was performed in a rock style and that motivated me to make this presentation. I hope you will enjoy it.
