This week, I dare to explore a genre of music that I have not earlier. It is a blend of Alternative and pop rock. A song by Korean rock band titled Renegade. It's an absolute banger, a perfect blend of catchy pop rock energy and the raw power of alternative rock. This song is more than just a listen; it's a call to action, a rallying cry for anyone seeking change and defying the status quo.

Esta semana, me atrevo a explorar un género musical que no había explorado antes. Es una mezcla de rock alternativo y pop rock. Una canción de la banda de rock coreana titulada "Renegade". I got to know about this beautiful song when I came across a YouTube video of Ed Sheeran rehearsal with a Korean band. He was given directives on the elements to make the song sound better, interesting and unique. It was a shame that later for some reason they were not able to collaborate on that protect. Either way, I am super glad that the band did not abandon the song entirely, they went on to produce the song.

Me enteré de esta hermosa canción cuando me encontré con un video de YouTube del ensayo de Ed Sheeran con una banda coreana. Le dieron directrices sobre los elementos para hacer que la canción sonara mejor, interesante y única. Fue una lástima que más tarde, por alguna razón, no pudieron colaborar en ese proyecto. De todos modos, estoy muy contento de que la banda no abandonara la canción por completo, siguieron adelante y la produjeron.

The chord progression is basically steady, and the melody is almost on repeated cycles but somehow it sounds different each time. I was able to discover this while scoring and studying the song for presentation.

Finally, I decided to not use the instrumental to make the cover. Instead, I made an acoustic record of the backing chords and then recorded the melody over it. I hope you join me as I explore this beautiful genre.
