Hello community, we have reached week 51 of this interesting Festival that unites voices and instruments from all over the world in a kaleidoscope that does not exclude any musical genre. In the community where I live we have had a lot of rain recently. Some light and others torrential, some announced and others sudden like surprise showers after days of strong sun, this inspired me to select to share this week the song "Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head" head).
This song has been performed by artists of the caliber of
B.J. Thomas, Engelbert Humperdinck. It was composed by Burt Bacharach and Hal David as the theme song for the 1969 western film "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid." The following year it won the Oscar for best original song. Whoever recorded it for the movie was
B.J. Thomas, a recording that was made when he had just recovered from laryngitis, which is why in the film his voice is heard thicker or deeper than usual.

Hola, comunidad, llegamos a la semana 51 de este interesante Festival que une voces e instrumentos de todas partes del mundo en un caleidoscopio que no excluye género musical alguno. En la comunidad en que habito hemos tenido muchas lluvias recientemente. Unas ligeras y otras torrenciales, unas anunciadas y otras repentinas como chaparrones sorpresivos después de días de fuerte sol, esto me inspiró a seleccionar para compartir esta semana la canción "Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head" (Gotas de lluvia se mantienen cayendo sobre mi cabeza).
Esta canción ha sido interpretada por artistas de la talla de
B.J. Thomas, Engelbert Humperdinck. Fue compuesta por Burt Bacharach y Hal David como tema principal de la película de vaqueros "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid"de 1969. Al año siguiente ganó el Óscar como mejor canción original. Quien la grabó para la película fue
B.J. Thomas, grabación que se hizo cuando el recién salía de una afección de laringitis, por ello en la película se oye su voz más gruesa o grave de lo común.
El mensaje que me da la canción es que cuando lleguen los problemas hay qué seguir avanzando, no quejarse mucho porque las quejas nada solucionan y saber que un día esos problemas y tristezas pasarán y llegarán de nuevo los momentos de alegría.
