Saludos, mis Hivers.
El día de hoy, cuando inicia el fin de semana, me dediqué a ver unas películas con mi hijo, al cual le gusta ver los combates de artes marciales. Y qué sorpresa, en los canales de televisión que siempre vemos estaban pasando este tipo de películas.
Entre un combate y otro, mi mente empezó a crear la forma como enfrentar un estilo musical contra otro. En este caso quise mezclar, dentro del mismo género Rock, dos facetas de este elemento que siempre me ha llamado la atención desde que era un niño. Esto es algo a los que los metaleros de la década de los 90 llamaban CALMA Y TORMENTA.
Este estilo se basa en crear un ambiente suave y básico, donde el vocalista va divagando sus líricas, despacio y sereno, para luego, a manera de cambio drástico, pasar a un ambiente un poco más oscuro y violento. Esto requiere trabajar con muteo de cuerdas y rasgado cortante. Me encanta.
Por esta razón denominé a esta composición, KEMPO vs NINJA. Vivencias del día a día junto a la familia, combinadas con la creación de la música Rock.

Today, when the weekend starts, I dedicated myself to watching some movies with my son, who likes to watch martial arts fights. And what a surprise, on the television channels we always watch they were playing this type of movies.
Between one fight and another, my mind began to create the way to face one musical style against another. In this case I wanted to mix, within the same Rock genre, two facets of this element that has always caught my attention since I was a child. This is something that the metalheads of the 90s called CALM AND STORM.
This style is based on creating a soft and basic atmosphere, where the singer rambles his lyrics, slowly and serenely, and then, in a drastic change of pace, he moves on to a darker and more violent atmosphere. This requires working with string muting and sharp rasping. I love it.
For this reason I named this composition, KEMPO vs NINJA. Everyday experiences with the family, combined with the creation of Rock music.
