Esta es mi participación vez en este encuentro de @talentos invita a escribir sobre "regalos para la vida", con un tema que tiene mucha tela que contar, si escribí contar, porque cada quien corta esa tela en su mejor manera de contar lo que piensa de sobre regalos para la vida.

"Regalos para la vida"

En muchas oportunidades he llegado a pensar que para muchas personas los regalos para la vida puede ser considerado algo que sea material, no sé, creo que puedo pensar en una casa, o un terreno para construir una casa, o puede ser un apartamento, en fin siempre he sabido eso. O es lo que puedo asumir.

Desde mi forma muy básica de pensar, siempre he considerado, que los regalos más preciados en la vida no son aquellos que se compran con dinero, aunque puede ser muy importante ese dinero, sino aquellos que provienen del corazón. Entre todos ellos, el más valioso, sin duda alguna, es la familia, así como lo estás leyendo, es lo que pienso, repetiré una frase que muchos venezolanos se conocen, o han leído, o simplemente se la dijeron en la escuela. La Familia es la base de la sociedad, pero más que esa sociedad, ese regalo lo veo como las relaciones que pueden existir entre todos los que hacen vida en mi familia.

Mi esposa y mis dos hijas, es la familia que he formado a partir de la unión que tengo con mi esposa, y para mí lo digo con toda la propiedad que me caracteriza cuando afirmo que mi familia es mi pilar fundamental, mi fuente de apoyo incondicional y el motor que me impulsa a seguir adelante. Pero también está mi familia por descendencia, como lo es mi familia materna, desde mi mamá hasta mis hermanos, son ellos quienes me conocen mejor que nadie, quienes me han visto crecer y evolucionar, y quienes siempre están ahí, en las buenas y en las malas, más allá de los genes que compartimos como hermanos, lo que nos une es un vínculo inquebrantable de amor, respeto y confianza. Eso es familia y en la familia encuentro un refugio seguro donde puedo ser yo mismo sin miedo a ser juzgado.

Justo este 24 de diciembre pasado después de un año si visitar a mi madre, nos pudimos reunir, mi familia como lo es mi esposa y mis dos hijas, así como también las familias de mis hermanos, todos alrededor de mi madre, quien por cierto cumple años el mismo 24 de diciembre. Los momentos compartidos con mi familia son los tesoros más preciados que guardo en mi memoria. Celebraciones, risas, confidencias, viajes, cada instante vivido a su lado se convierte en un recuerdo imborrable que enriquece mi vida.

El mejor regalo para la vida que mi madre mencionó, fue justamente eso, que todos sus hijos y sus nietos, podía estar con ella en su cumpleaños, ella lo dijo mientras la felicitábamos por su cumpleaños número 78, sus palabras de amor y de felicidad eran que su mejor regalo para su vida fuimos sus hijos, que lo mejor era la familia que cada uno de nosotros pudo formar.

Poder tener una familia pequeña o una familia grande representa el amor de madre, el amor de abuela, ya eso es un regalo invaluable que particularmente a mí me llena de fortaleza y me permite afrontar cualquier desafío con valentía. Su presencia en mi vida es una bendición que agradezco cada día, y gracias a sus enseñanzas pude formar una familia, ahora eso para mí es el mejor regalo para mi vida-

Todos somos consientes de que en este mundo donde la materialidad parece reinar, es importante recordar que los verdaderos tesoros de la vida son aquellos que no se pueden comprar. La familia es un regalo invaluable para la vida, que debemos atesorar y cuidar con esmero, por eso, hoy quiero dedicar estas palabras a mi familia, a quienes agradezco infinitamente por su amor, apoyo y compañía. Son ellos mi mayor regalo para la vida que me ha tocado vivir, son la razón por la que sonrío cada día y el motor que me impulsa a seguir adelante.

"Gifts for life"

In many opportunities I have come to think that for many people gifts for life can be considered something that is material, I don't know, I guess I can think of a house, or a piece of land to build a house, or it can be an apartment, anyway I have always known that. Or that's what I can assume.

From my very basic way of thinking, I have always considered, that the most precious gifts in life are not those that are bought with money, although that money can be very important, but those that come from the heart. Among all of them, the most valuable, without any doubt, is the family, just as you are reading it, is what I think, I will repeat a phrase that many Venezuelans know, or have read, or simply were told in school. The Family is the basis of society, but more than that society, I see that gift as the relationships that can exist between all those who make life in my family.

My wife and my two daughters, is the family I have formed from the union I have with my wife, and for me I say it with all the property that characterizes me when I say that my family is my main pillar, my source of unconditional support and the engine that drives me to move forward. But there is also my family by descent, as is my maternal family, from my mother to my brothers, they are the ones who know me better than anyone, who have seen me grow and evolve, and who are always there, in good times and bad, beyond the genes we share as siblings, what unites us is an unbreakable bond of love, respect, and trust. That is family, and in family I find a safe haven where I can be myself without fear of being judged.

Just this past December 24, after a year of not visiting my mother, we were able to get together, my family, my wife and my two daughters, as well as the families of my siblings, all around my mother, who by the way has her birthday on December 24. The moments shared with my family are the most precious treasures I keep in my memory. Celebrations, laughter, confidences, trips, every moment spent with them becomes an indelible memory that enriches my life.

The best gift for life that my mother mentioned was just that, that all her children and grandchildren could be with her on her birthday, she said it while we were congratulating her on her 78th birthday, her words of love and happiness were that her best gift for her life were her children, that the best was the family that each one of us could form.

To be able to have a small family or a large family represents the love of a mother, the love of a grandmother, and that is a priceless gift that particularly fills me with strength and allows me to face any challenge with courage. Her presence in my life is a blessing that I am grateful for every day, and thanks to her teachings I was able to form a family, now that for me is the best gift for my life.

We are all aware that in this world where materiality seems to reign, it is important to remember that the true treasures of life are those that cannot be bought. Family is a priceless gift for life, which we must treasure and take care of with care, so today I want to dedicate these words to my family, to whom I am infinitely grateful for their love, support, and companionship. They are my greatest gift for the life I have had to live, they are the reason I smile every day and the engine that drives me to move forward.
