HIVELEARNERS CREATIVE SUNDAY || YOU SAY COVER

It's creative Sunday guys and I'm so happy to be participating in it this week. Today I finally made a video of me singing after a long time and it just feels like the first time. I've been engaged here and there and it has been really so hard to sit to face the camera to sing. I had issues, my phone got bad and the one I'm using now has sound issues but I just had to manage it for this video and others until I get a new one.

I've also been moving from place to place and that has also been a setback in my video creation but in all of these, I'm glad I was able to create one today. Since it's been a while I sat to make a video, it felt a little strange and fun at the same time. Well, I did an Acapella cover of the song titled YOU SAY by Lauren Daigle. It's a gospel song which I so much love and making a cover of it was just so soul lifting for me but I can't say that about you listening to it.

In this song, Lauren as she always likes to do, acknowledges the handwork of God in her life. We know how sometimes we just feel we are not enough but then when we know the one who has created us, we would be reminded that he loves us so unconditionally and that alone proves that we are just enough and we are more than conquerers. No matter what life seems to be throwing at us, we should always try to make the most of it and not give it a chance to get to us because we are just enough.

The song has two beautiful solos and a bridge which is somehow similar to a solo and all of the lyrics are just motivating and elevating. Whenever I sing this song, I just try to picture every word and think how it applies to me and that way I get to grasp the whole essence of the song. The fact that I did an Acapella cover shouldn't stop you from enjoying it right? In fact I'm hoping you will even enjoy it better, hehe.

Please pardon the background noise from my video, my phone is not really good at selecting just voice, it takes every little sound and I just didn't want that to discourage and stop me from making my video today.
