Hace unos días recreamos la primera escena de El Padrino en clases, fue un ejercicio bastante interesante pero a su vez complicado, tuvimos que improvisar muchas cosas entre ellas utilería para poder recrearla lo mejor posible; lo más difícil de todo fue grabar el audio debido a que o teníamos equipos de sonido con nosotros, lamentablemente el audio que pudimos grabar quedó muy mal y faltaron partes así que preferí usar el audio original de la película doblado a español para no perder las grabaciones.

La edición fue complicada, nunca había editado algo con tantas repeticiones de escenas, cortes, errores y de paso que tuviese que encajar casi de forma exacta con un trabajo previo; mi Mo @dimeilaz me ayudo muchísimo con varios temas de edición pero sobre todo en la parte de sonido debido a que él maneja mucho más esos temas que yo; me encargué de la mayor parte de la edición, un compañero de clases me ayudó con el orden de las escenas, los primeros cortes y en la visión general, yo me encargué más que todo de pulirlo para que quedara excelente.

Después de editar fue que me di cuenta de los muchos errores que se cometieron durante las grabaciones, muchos errores que yo cometí que me complicaron mucho el tema de la edición pero de ellos es que se aprende; ya sé qué hacer y qué no hacer para unas próximas ocasiones. Realmente fue bastante entretenido esta actividad pero más que ello fue muy nutritiva para aprender y mejorar.

Los audios que usé son los originales de la película, por ende, poseen derechos de autor a los cuales no estoy autorizada pero tuve que usarlos por indicaciones de la asignación como del profesor, el enfoque de este vídeo es mostrar todo lo que hemos aprendido en clases sobre las Artes Audiovisuales y cómo aplicar estas nuevas técnicas.

A few days ago we recreated the first scene of The Godfather in class, it was a very interesting exercise but also complicated, we had to improvise many things including props to recreate it as best as possible; the most difficult of all was to record the audio because we did not have sound equipment with us, unfortunately the audio we could record was very bad and missing parts so I preferred to use the original audio of the film dubbed into Spanish to avoid losing the recordings.

The editing was complicated, I had never edited something with so many scene repetitions, cuts, mistakes and by the way that had to fit almost exactly with a previous work; my Mo @dimeilaz helped me a lot with various editing issues but especially in the sound part because he handles much more those issues than me; I was in charge of most of the editing, a classmate helped me with the order of the scenes, the first cuts and in the overview, I was mostly in charge of polishing it to make it look excellent.

After editing was that I realized the many mistakes that were made during the recordings, many mistakes that I made that complicated me a lot the issue of editing but from them is that you learn; I know what to do and what not to do for future occasions. This activity was really quite entertaining but more than that it was very nourishing to learn and improve.

The audios I used are the original ones from the movie, therefore, they have copyrights to which I am not authorized but I had to use them by indications of the assignment and the teacher, the focus of this video is to show everything we have learned in class about the Audiovisual Arts and how to apply these new techniques.
