Good day ladies and gentlemen of this lovely and beautiful community

What a prevelege to join your guys for the first time.

This happened In a village not too far from where I grew up in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria, there was a funny story about a man who couldn't hear and a driver. The man wanted a ride somewhere, but he couldn't talk like most people. Instead, he used his special way of talking because he couldn't hear.

Now, you might think this would be really confusing, right? But hold on tight, because something interesting happened. The driver somehow understood everything the man was saying, even though it was in his special way of talking. It was like they had a secret language!

First, the man said things like "go left, go right, keep going straight, stop in the middle, go down a slope, climb a hill, and we're there!" And the driver tried to copy these directions as best as he could. You won't believe it, but the man gave the driver a thumbs-up, meaning he got it!

But then, the driver, being responsible, asked about the money. And guess what? The man started crying and said he had no money. He asked the driver to please help him get to where he needed to go.

Now, the driver, maybe because he was a kind person, said, "Okay! Put on your seatbelt, and let's go!" But just when they thought everything was fine, the phone rang.

Who was on the phone? It was someone who wanted to talk to the man, but he was still using his special way of talking. The caller got angry and said some mean things like "you're crazy" and "you're stupid."

The poor man was in a tough spot because he had already told the driver he had no money. The caller threatened to give the money to someone else, so the man had to push himself to speak normally and say, "No, please don't give it to someone else!"

After that intense conversation, the caller hung up, and the man went back to his special way of talking, asking the driver to take him to his special place. But the driver wasn't happy about it. He just gave the man a good, hard slap.

And that's the end of our funny story that happened in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. The lesson here? Well, let's just say, don't pretend to be broke if you've got a secret way of talking!p

The lesson here is crystal clear: Never pretend to be without means when you possess a unique way of communication!

Such pretense can lead to unnecessary confusion and trouble. Instead, be truthful and open in your interactions, and if you need assistance, don't hesitate to ask for it in an honest and straightforward manner. This way, you'll build trust and avoid unnecessary complications in your life.

Honesty and clear communication are essential virtues in our daily interactions. Deception and pretending can only create misunderstandings and, sometimes, even harm relationships. So, remember, it's always better to be true to yourself and others, embracing your uniqueness without the need for deception.
