Hace varios meses atrás escribí por primera vez en esta comunidad hablando de Tina y Tona... "Las Cerditas de mi Esposo"
Pues esas Cerditas que tuve que alimentar por un buen tiempo y que les tenía mucho pavor, han crecido y una de ellas dio a luz la madrugada de ayer, mientras que la otra aún está embarazada! 😁
Several months ago I first wrote in this community talking about Tina and Tona.... "My Husband's Piggies."
Well those Piggies that I had to feed for quite a while and that I was really dreading them, have grown up and one of them gave birth early yesterday morning, while the other one is still pregnant! 😁

Pues con 11 meses de edad, 114 días de embarazo y 170 kilos, tina nos hizo abuelos!
Su trabajo de parto por así decirlo empezó a la 1:30am... Nos dimos cuenta que daría a luz esa madrugada porque sus tetitas se rebosaron de leche y solo al tacto la destilaban.
Justamente a las 2:20am empezó con las contracciones y a pujar.
Tristemente los 2 primeros que expulsó no se habían formado bien y nacieron muertos... Nos asustamos mucho, pues pensamos que todos podían estar mal formados... Sin embargo tratamos de mantener la positividad! 😊
Nos acompañó en el proceso un amigo de la casa que tiene experiencia con cochinos, mi esposo estaba echo un manojo de nervios jajajajaja y yo ni loca me atrevía a entrar con tina, pues ella estaba muy muy arisca y solo un mordisco de semejante mandíbula me arrancaría la pierna!
Well at 11 months old, 114 days pregnant and 170 kilos, tina made us grandparents!
Her labor so to speak started at 1:30am.... We knew she would give birth that early in the morning because her boobs were overflowing with milk and just by touching them, they were distilling it.
At precisely 2:20am she started contractions and pushing.
Sadly the first 2 that she pushed out had not formed well and were stillborn.... We were very scared, as we thought they could all be malformed.... However we tried to stay positive! 😊
We were accompanied in the process by a friend of the house who has experience with pigs, my husband was a bundle of nerves hahahahahaha and I did not even dare to enter with tina, because she was very very surly and only a bite of such a jaw would tear my leg!
Sus contracciones eran cada 30 a 40 minutos... El 3er cerdito que expulsó si estaba vivo gracias a Dios! Allí nos quedamos más tranquilos!
Nuestro amigo, tomaba los cerditos y los limpiaba con mucho cuidado y delicadeza, le soplaba aire por la boca hasta que lloraban, jejeje fue un proceso muy lindo. Nunca había presenciado algo así.
Cabe resaltar que estos pequeños nacieron SUPER ACTIVOS...
Her contractions were every 30 to 40 minutes.... The 3rd piglet she expelled was alive thank God! There we were calmer!
Our friend took the piglets and cleaned them with great care and delicacy, he blew air through their mouths until they cried, hehehe it was a very nice process. I had never witnessed anything like that.
It is worth mentioning that these little ones were born SUPER ACTIVE....

El trabajo de parto duro hasta las 5:45 am... Nacieron un total de 12 cerditos, 6 con Vida y 6 que no se formaron bien!
Las causas de los que no se desarrollaron las desconocemos, existen múltiples factores!
Sin embargo esos 6 qué si vivieron, están muy sanos, hermosos y pilas.
The labor lasted until 5:45 am.... A total of 12 piglets were born, 6 with life and 6 that did not develop well!
The causes of those that did not develop are unknown, there are multiple factors!
However, those 6 that did live, are very healthy, beautiful and full of batteries.

El trabajo arduo ahora es que empieza...
Mi esposo y yo no dormimos en toda la madrugada atendiendo el parto y durante el día la cosa no cambio...
Pues debíamos cuidar mucho a los cerditos de que tina no los pisará o lastimara, pues son muy frágiles y una pisada de 170 kilos los mataría en el acto!
Aparté que ella, en su instinto materno no nos permitía que nos acercaramos mucho a los cochinitos.
Nos turnamos en el día, mientras yo cocinaba mi esposo cuidaba, mientras yo cuidaba, mi esposo dormía, mientras mi esposo cuidaba yo volvía a cocinar y ahorita mientras el duerme, yo redacto mi post y los vigilo, (estoy de guardia) 🤣🤣🤣.... De verdad estoy más agotada ahorita que cuando nació mi hija.
Sin embargo no puedo negar que son unas ternuras🥺😍!
The hard work is just beginning...
My husband and I did not sleep during the whole dawn attending the birth and during the day the thing did not change...
Well, we had to be very careful that tina did not step on them or hurt them, because they are very fragile and a 170 kilos step would kill them on the spot!
I set aside that she, in her maternal instinct, did not allow us to get too close to the piglets.
We took turns in the day, while I cooked my husband watched, while I watched, my husband slept, while my husband watched I went back to cooking and now while he sleeps, I write my post and watch them, (I'm on call) 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.... I really am more exhausted right now than I was when my daughter was born.
However I can't deny that they are such cuties🥺😍!

De nuevo son las 2am, los ojos me pesan
del cansancio y aún nos quedan 6 días más de guardia intensiva con los piccolinos de la casa hasta que estén más fuertes y puedan defenderse por si solos😓!
Sin duda ha sido una de las experiencias más agotadoras pero también más lindas que he vivido con una mascota.🐷🐽

It's 2am again, my eyes are heavy with tiredness
from exhaustion and we still have 6 more days of intensive guarding with the piccolinos of the house until they are stronger and can defend themselves on their own😓!
Without a doubt it has been one of the most exhausting but also one of the nicest experiences I have lived with a pet 🐷🐽.
