    About :

Here in today’s video clip with your host Jules, we find ourselves on the shore line at the south Cape coast of Africa, compared to the cliff tops. Today I managed to climb all the way down to the water’s edge itself. As you can see there is a fireplace where one can camp out and cook a meal. Fresh water flows in a little stream nearby, all the way to the ocean waves.
As a result the place is totally life supporting. There is no habitation anywhere along the shore line here, and the closest house is up at the top of the cliffs. I seldom see anyone here at all, and perhaps only a handful of people ever come down to this shoreline in a year.
As a result I feel really fortunate to be able to take shelter in this part of nature, without anyone else around. I like to come here to find solitude and peace. In this kind of environment I can become calm and centered and access a meditative space.
This is conducive to good health and a mindset that is composed, calm and connected. The connection comes from accessing both hemispheres of the brain and linking them. IN this way we can have a whole brain experience, which is the secret to greater insight and productivity., as far as creativity and original or helpful ideas are concerned.
What a paradise I have to myself here on the remote African coastline way down south. If you look at the clip, you can see the ocean stretched out to the horizon. That is due south, and leads directly to Antarctica, as the crow flies. That is how remote it is here.
I’m sure folks are interested in what is happening on the opposite sides of the globe to themselves, especially nowadays when we are all affected by the pandemic and lockdown. We want to know how the rest of the planet is receiving the current virus and all that the government has imposed upon us.
Well, here at the most remote part of Africa, there is not much sign of covid. It may have already come and gone for all I know. In fact I myself may have had it and not known. I have been very healthy all year, and that probably comes from not seeing many people, not having any stress, and having all the rest, food and fresh air that I could want.
There is no pollution in the air at a place like this. Just look at the visuals and you will see how pure and natural the place is. There is no sign of human life whatsoever, besides the little stone circle fireplace on the ground.
It is very helpful to anyone anywhere in the world to access some similar natural environment where they can also find peace and tranquility, in which to revive the health and also find a peaceful moment to meditate or at least become calm and centered, so that balance can arise within the consciousness.
By coming to a peaceful place, one can allow the mind to also become peaceful. There are no distractions or urgencies here, even if just for a few hours. This in itself is amazingly refreshing on all levels. A profound motto to generate the right priority in life is “simple living and high thinking”. It may be almost contrary to modern western upbringing and culture, but that is the secret to achieving the perfection of life.
Modern western living has actually deliberately conditioned us to desire more and more. We are groomed to be consumers, needing to buy items at the stores to feel a dopamine boost or to feel satisfied. However, this treadmill of the never ending consumer mentality will not lead to satisfaction.
In fact it can lead to the opposite. We are never satisfied, knowing that newer and newer models are launching on the store shelves all the time. We become dependent on our gadgetry. As a result we lose touch with pure nature which is our real source of sustenance.
Therefore I recommend keeping life simple and appreciating the natural treasures all around us, especially in a place like this coastline that you can see in the clip. So wherever you are, take some time to absorb yourself in nature and feed your soul, enrich your soul life. You will find a sense of wealth coming to you, which is not dependent on riches. You will find yourself and life will never feel empty of lacking again.
