Spring waterfall on the south Cape coast of Africa

Greetings and welcome to another edition of The Shape of The Cape with your host Julescape. It is early Spring here in the south and the rains have been heavier than usual. In fact all over the planet the rain has flooded numerous countries. Here the dry years are over and this year;s extra rain has been a blessing.

I’m at the stream near the coast where it washes into the sea directly. But today it is a massive waterfall. Compared to the usual trickle. I am so impressed and especially came to check it out after the heavy rains recently. This is such an awesome place to be, surrounded by nature and overlooking the ocean down below, not far away.

The roar of the waterfall is just majestic and surcharged with power. I wonder how many millions of liters of water is flowing here incessantly for days on end. The volume of the roar is just deafening. This is the kind of place where one can tap in to the abundant chi or prana or life energy available, as well as the healthy negative ions in the atmosphere that are generated by the flowing water.

I have been coming here for the whole year on occasion and today the rivwr is at its biggest ever. I am super inspired by the site of all the life-giving water, especially after the previous years of drought in the past. The seasons seem to go in cycles of a few years of dry followed by a few years of wet weather. The earth and all her residents must be happy about the water to sustain them. Spring will explode with flowers and new life now in these conditions/.

This is such an invigorating region of the world, which is seen in the fact that we also had so few covid cases here in South Africa, despite it being winter here recently. The climate is just so healthy and the vast outdoor terrain and fresh air seem to facilitate good health. I don’t know what else has helped us to stay so covid-free. I know zero people who have been ill from any covid virus.

The abundance of water at this meeting of two rivers will certainly nourish the baboons who frequent the cliff edges here at the coast in this part of the Garden Route, as it’s called. It’s actually the tourist hot spot of the entire Cape coast of Africa way down south here. With international travel still restricted, we are seeing a boost in tourist visitors here in the luxury tourist paradise that I call home now.

However, not many people know about or can access this pristine waterfall environment. Usually I am alone to enjoy it and I have never seen anyone here, other than a few passing fishermen on their way down to the shore. So I take these video clips to show you the beauty of nature that I am surrounded by. I liken the waterfall to a treasure of a space and I want to share this treasure with you, so that you can appreciate the invigorating effects of nature too.

Accessing places like this will improve our health and our mood, so if you are feeling overwhelmed by life on any level, then feel free to come visit and I will take you exploring. We can hike to the waterfalls and find a place for meditation, and in that way tap in to the peaceful and uplifting environment that surrounds us here. The cliffs along the coast stretch for miles without any sign of people. It is a real hidden gem, and yet the town is just s few miles away too.

So it’s all within reach for me, everything I need is here, especially the vast open expanse of nature. I hope you can tap in to the healthy natural environment wherever you are. There is nothing better in the long run, than to step out of the cities and suburbs to find the purity of nature to sustain you in these current times. Get out of the cites if you can. I did and will never return. There is no comparison. And that may be why covid is so absent here. It is just too healthy, and there is minimal contagion.
