Saludos mis queridos amigos de Hive, bienvenidos una vez más a mi nuevo blog. Hoy me animé a volver a Hive, después de un largo tiempo sin escribir ni un post; entonces hice este relato recitado por mi, el cual lleva por título : Regreso inesperado.

Greetings my dear friends of Hive, welcome once again to my new blog. Today I decided to come back to Hive, after a long time without writing a post; so I made this story recited by me, which is entitled: Unexpected return...

Unexpected return

It all starts with a day just like the others, I got up, brushed my teeth, then I took a bath, and then I went to make a fried arepita; after breakfast, I washed the plate where I ate, and then I went to write a new post, but I never thought that something different would happen and that because of this my life would change.

When I was in front of my computer, the Hive page did not want to load to upload the results of a raffle made by me, it turns out that the Internet started to fail; here in Venezuela that was already something normal, I did not pay much attention because in my mind I said to myself: "Relax, the Internet will be back soon".

Regreso inesperado

Todo comienza con un día igual a los demás, me levanté, me cepille los dientes, luego me eche un baño, y después fui a hacerme una arepita frita; terminado de desayunar, lave el plato donde comí, para luego ir a escribir un post nuevo, pero jamás pensé que algo diferente pasaría y que debido a esto mi vida cambiaría.

Al estar frente a mi computadora, la página de Hive no quería cargar para subir los resultados de un sorteo hecho por mí, resulta que el Internet me empezó a fallar; aquí en Venezuela eso ya era algo normal, no le presté mucha atención porque en mi mente me dije yo mismo: “Tranquilo, el internet pronto volverá”

Another part of me knew that it would not be like that. 1, 2, 3 or even 24 hours went by and the internet did not come back, all this made me fall behind in the research of my school homework; I was also sad that I could not have finished that draw.

One month passed and still the internet did not come back, although there was no internet anyway, I had to pay for it monthly with the help of my parents. To do my homework research I had to go to my classmates' house and that was how I could hand in all my work.

In my heart I felt that something was missing, instead of being happy because I had already handed in all my homework, I felt very sad, as if I had an emptiness. As time went by there was a day which I don't remember the date, but I only know that at a classmate's house I checked my Hive profile and I saw how several people, who are my best friends, tagged me inviting me to participate in writing contests.

Otra parte de mí, sabía que no sería así. Pasaron 1, 2, 3 hasta 24 horas y el internet no volvía, todo esto me hizo atrasarme en las investigaciones de las tareas del liceo; también me entristeció no poder haber finalizado aquel sorteo.

Paso 1 mes y todavía el internet no volvía, aunque no había internet igual, tenía que pagarlo mensualmente con ayuda de mis padres. Para hacer las investigaciones de mis tareas debía ir a casa de mis compañeros y así era que podía entregar todos mis trabajos

En mi corazón sentía que algo me faltaba, en vez de estar alegre porque ya había entregado todas las tareas del liceo, me sentía muy triste, como con un vacío. Pasando el tiempo hubo un día el cual no recuerdo en que fecha fue, pero solo sé que en casa de un compañero revise mi perfil de Hive y vi como varias personas, las cuales son mis mejores amigos me etiquetaban invitándome a participar en concursos de escritura.

There I felt joy, an unimaginable encouragement; the emptiness that was in me was no longer there. So from that day on I decided to take up Hive again, but first I had to solve the problem of the internet connection; I looked for how much a modem and a wifi router would cost to see if the internet signal would work.

It wasn't even a week later when I had already bought what I needed, I installed everything as it was and to my surprise, the internet was back. All this happened because the modem I had at home had been with us for more than 6 years and was very old, due to this certain circuits had burned out; the internet was always there but without being able to reach me.

Maybe you are wondering and when was that day? Well that day was today, I am very happy because I was able to return to Hive. And that's why this story is called: Unexpected Return.

Ahí sentí alegría, un ánimo inimaginable; el vacío que había en mí ya no estaba. Así que desde ese día me propuse a retomar Hive, pero primero debía solventar el problema de la conexión a internet; Busqué cuánto salía un Módem y un Router wifi para así ver si se acomodaba la señal de internet.

No pasó ni una semana cuando ya había comprado lo que necesitaba, instalé todo como iba y para mi sorpresa, el internet había vuelto. Todo esto pasó ya que el módem que tenía en casa ya llevaba más de 6 años con nosotros y estaba muy viejo, debido a esto ciertos circuitos se habían quemado; el internet siempre estuvo ahí pero sin poder llegar a mí.

Tal vez se preguntan y ¿cuándo fue ese día? Pues ese día fue hoy, estoy muy alegre porque ya pude volver a Hive. Y por eso este relato tiene como nombre: Regreso Inesperado.
