This happens rarely, but this is my second time in a row participating in La Voz Cantante 😇 Usually busyness keeps me crazy, but this year I want to share more with this sister community that keeps growing like foam and increasing its projection quality thanks to its artists. Greetings to all, especially to moderators and friends @nahupuku and @orimusic.

For this 49th edition I want to play again something by Caramelos de Cianuro, from the 2002 album Frisbee. Those magical times of my adolescence where I listened to music with headphones and traveled with the lyrics of the songs. Many genres were part of me, and this Venezuelan band has a lot of meaning in my musical history. This album had very, very, very, very interesting songs, but I don't think any of them marked me as much as this one.

It's called Surfer Girl, and I accept it, I never imagined a surfer girl for me, but I understand that the composer titled the song that way just to define the perfect woman. Since I heard this song for the first time I identified with someone who would always wait for the right woman, and yes, as corny as it sounds I always imagined her. Years went by and I realized that the song was part of me hahaha, but those who follow me will know that she already came into my life. As the lyrics say, I knew she existed, and of course I've already told Jhoxiris several times that I forgive her for making me wait 🤣

Esto pasa pocas veces, pero es mi segunda vez consecutiva participando en La Voz Cantante 😇 Generalmente las ocupaciones me mantienen enloquecido, pero este año quiero compartir más con esta comunidad hermana que sigue creciendo como la espuma y aumentando su calidad de proyección gracias a sus artistas. Un saludo para todos, especialmente para los moderadores y amigos @nahupuku y @orimusic.

Para esta edición 49 quiero interpretar nuevamente algo de Caramelos de Cianuro, del álbum Frisbee de 2002. Esos mágicos tiempos de mi adolescencia donde escuchaba música con los audífonos y viajaba con las letras de las canciones. Muchos géneros eran parte de mí, y esta banda venezolana tiene mucho significado en mi historia musical. Vaya que este disco tenía canciones muy, muy, pero muy interesantes, pero creo que ninguna me marcó tanto esta.

Se llama Surfer Girl, y lo acepto, jamás imaginé para mí a una chica surfista, pero entiendo que el compositor tituló así la canción solo por definir a la mujer perfecta. Desde que escuché esta canción por primera vez me identifiqué con alguien que esperaría siempre a la mujer correcta, y sí, por más cursi que suene siempre me la imaginé. Pasaron los años y me di cuenta que la canción era parte de mí jajaja, pero quienes me siguen sabrán que ya ella llegó a mi vida. Como dice la letra, yo sabía que sí existía, y claro que ya le he dicho a Jhoxiris varias veces que la perdono por haberme hecho esperar 🤣

Whenever I choose songs for Hive I look for all kinds of posts or references on the internet, it was a great pleasure for me to find this video by @alejandrorigo, who also had the same idea of taking this song to a ballad. Of course it was better for him because he accompanied himself with his guitar, but the cover is wonderful. I invite you to watch it and to subscribe to his youtube channel... My video was recorded with my Tecno Pova II and edited with Shotcut and Photodirector...

Siempre que elijo canciones para Hive busco todo tipo de postas o referencias en internet, fue un gran gusto para mí encontrarme con este video de @alejandrorigo, que además tuvo la misma idea de llevar esta canción a una balada. Por supuesto a él le quedó mejor porque se acompañó con su guitarra, pero el cover es maravilloso. Los invito a verlo y a suscribirse a su canal de youtube... Mi video se grabó con mi Tecno Pova II y fue editado con Shotcut y Photodirector...
